Discussion: Reebok Barrage Legend is GREAT BAT

This is where I sent mine, but I don't have an email or phone # for them, and I don't know if you need one. I would think you do. The guy I bought it from let them know I was sending it in.

Rich I will thanks, and Happy New Year be safe.

To Mark, I heard you got yours already. I was hoping for the same but I guess I have to be patient. (I'm not real good at patient, oh well)
And this info was from Alan.

Nothing. Reebok won't send out replacements to Dean and I until they produce another batch, or some BS like that. It's the last dime I spend on any Reebok product. I bought it because the salesman swore that it would be more durable then the Melee. So they took my money, gave me junk from China and as a bonus, shitty customer service.
Like I said earlier don't buy this bat.
Merry Christmas everyone.

Discussion: 1 up rule

If the rule had to be changed (shouldn't have) then the 1-up should have been the rule to go to. Two power teams still have fun when they meet, AND teams with lesser power can/are very competitive. You here us tout NCSSA a lot on here, this rule is a big reason why. SSUSA really blew it all the way around with this one.

Discussion: Miken Senior Bat Review- shich is the best bat of the 3?

Ultra II Black one piece- Best pop/distance. No durability.

Ultra Two-piece White- Took 200 swings to fully break in, then promptly broke. I didn't like it, then the last 10 swings of its life it was as hot as my Melee, then it was done.

Ultra II Gray Two-piece? - The first gray one piece was great with a light endload. No durability.(I don't think there is a gray two-piece. Could be wrong?)

Better wait on the Barrage. Mine broke in 35 swings, and my team mates lasted 40 swings. I can't even say it was hot out of the wrapper, I was only taking 50% swings.
Alan had me ship it back to Reebok and he says they will replace it, but you might want to wait to see what we say about the replacement. Sorry Alan this is probably not what you want to hear but I'm just being honest. I haven't heard anything yet (except this thread) but it has only been a week.
If you remember the Melee had first batch issues also. It's still the hottest bat out there.

Ed is this a senior 2 piece bat? Corky was at BLD saying Reebok wasn't going to release one.

Marv the Fire Ball we use is the unlicensed one. Model #2SB550YS. The ball has no assoc. stamps (obviously) nor compression ratings on it.
I also enjoy play with this ball for all the reasons above. I, and my BP partners, have noticed serious bat degradation after every tourney we have been in with the ISA Rock. But honestly I have not seen this with the Fire Ball. What that means is for you to decide, just my observations.

The 52 cor ball stinks for more standard size fields, but would be your best bet for such a tiny field. 40 cor ball travels far unless its hot out, and I'm not real sure about 47-375 ball. I'm only familiar with the 47-500 (don't use it).
The 52's are very limited it flight compared to the 44cor and should hold up well. But warn the infielders, the thing bounces in the infield like a rubber ball.
Just my practical experience and opinion.

Discussion: 2 piece Ultra broke after 6 games..... extremely disappointed

I broke my third Reebok this year in Reno and bought a 2 piece EL out of frustration (same reason I switched to Reebok 2 years ago. Put about 45 swings on it today, and though it's not broke in yet it is a very good bat. Not as hot as a new Reebok but if it lasts a little longer it will be well worth it. I'm not holding my breath though.

Mario there is no way your team should be an indicator of a bats durability haha. I saw a couple innings at Reno's finest facility, Rancho San Rafael (Reno you should be ashamed)and was wondering who let the football team in.

Discussion: How can SSUSA possibly reclassify an established Major+ team

Guys, the only agenda I have is with what appears to be SSUSA decision to drop a team down that may or may not deserve it, and tell everyone else you have to play three tourneys first before we even think about it. That is BS.

Swing, right on the money.

Allan I agree.

400, I guess I mean guys that do it at-will with ease. Most people know what true M+ guys hit like. If you remember Friday was a beautiful day, low to mid 80's, no wind, only two games, no cramps. I stand by what I said about the one RR game I saw. I never said anything about the other teams in the tourney, from what I saw they are all strong. You can spin it any way you want, I really don't care. You got your trophy, guess you're happy.

Not sour grapes at all. I just thought it was dirty pool when I first heard of it. And telling people what I saw.

Discussion: How can SSUSA possibly reclassify an established Major+ team

I saw parts of several games this weekend. My observations, Fangrabbers were better then anyone else out there this weekend. They have quite a few guys who bang (obviously + players) but not a whole teams worth. They wouldn't have a chance against MTC55, and IMO that's why they sandbagged down here. In one RR game they were up and cruising, then just stopped playing the last two innings. It was so obvious, half swings from their big guys, suddenly balls getting to the fence, huge holes in the infield. Not just my opinion, but several people around me just shaking their heads. Does this take away from the team that won? Yes, which sucks because they are good friends of mine.
I'm only saying this because I think they would compete where they were in M+, but wanted that trophy sooo bad they somehow get re-classed the week of the tourney. AND SSUSA ALOUD THIS. What a joke. There were a couple teams that bumped up this year that have little chance of winning, but were told no these are the rules, when asked to re-class. Rules until now, I guess. This is what I saw and what I believe, hate me if you want. But this was just another black eye for SSUSA.

Well it's now obvious "staff" isn't going to try to defend themselves (probably can't). So how about you Fangrabbers? Whats up with this? You guys care enough to explain this?
