Amazing, All I can say is WOW.....Wow, I've never heard of 3 or 4 Grand Slams in 1 game let along hit by 1 person. My man Alvin. And you said that hitting wasn't your priority and that fielding was, but then you never do miss BP do you. You always wanted to be like Joe Morgan. LOL |

You are So right Webbie, I just missed my first Las Vegas tourney in 12 years and I surely did miss all you old geezers. The Games are fine but for me, it’s just seeing some great guys with great attitudes who really can play this game of Softball. I hear that there were some great defensive plays and hitting going on in LV. Webbie I don't even have to ask, I know you hit the heck out of the ball. And what do you mean you were hobbling around? How the knee doing these days? |

It has the ASA 2000 stamp at the end of the barrel and USSSA 1.20 and yes they are HOT. No idea how much they are worth but I liked to know just because I have 2 of them. They were made around 2002. Durable I believe USSSA made them illegal because of the POP, but don't quote me. |

| June 28, 2013 canIjack | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: safety masks Budleftfield, I'm sad to hear that your pitcher lost the use of one of his eyes. Pitching uh and he was wearing a Mask, so he really thought that he was protecting himself from any harm to his face. Buying unproven equipment can change your life. What were the Spec for the Mask I just started pitching for a Rec League who has alot of young Men who don't give a damn about going middle. So my wife said if you want to play you have got to wear a Mask. So I brought a La Cross Helmet and face guard. Personally I needed the helmet just as much as the Face Guard. Having suffered 5 concussions over my life time and the last one being the worst. I can't afford to have another head injury. Vertigo comes and goes, motion pills are a must. The Pitcher is the Position that has more and the worst injuries of any position the field. Guys look at the Pros, they don't wear Plastic Mask. The ball is thrown at 90 to 100 miles per hr. at 90ft. to the catcher. The ball comes off the bat is 95+ miles per hr. 50ft back as us and we have a plastic face guard on. Metal or Plastic, I'm taking Metal any day of the week. I really do need these good looks in my line of work. |
| May 31, 2013 canIjack | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Lower Back Pain Home Remedies I have purchased an Inversion machine(Stand)about year now,My stand holds 250lb., so it was strong enough to hold me,I did have my thoughts about hanging upside down and hanging by my feet, getting into and out of the hanging position. But it was a pice of cake. Man it the best. I strained my lower back 7 years ago. My back would go out every 3 to 4 months. I would wear a back brace to work and even sleep in one to line me back up. But now anytime that my lower back stars to stiffen up, I get locked in and lay back and invert at about 75 degrees some times 90 degrees for 4-5, 30 sec. intervals or until I hear and feel a few joints pop and loosen up. And in 1 session my lower back is loose and pain free. It is the best piece of equipment IMO to get instant relief from Pressure on your spine and I have not used heat pads or pain pills for my back in over a year. Do get one if you need to releve pressure on Lower, Middle and upper spine. |

You guys only made 2 outs the whole game against us (D&K). We should of had 5 (LOL), but 3 errors cost us 3 outs. Hollis is a GREAT hitting Team, No dought! Joe Browns what can I say, You beat us 3 out of 3 times this in this Tourney. Also it wasn't Mike 2 HRs that hurts us, it was Webbie 3 HRs with men on every time that hurt us in our final lost. Nice games to the both of you and the rest of the Joe Brown Team. Tell Joe, I'll will have those Beers before the game next time if and when he offers them to me again. Well Guys it looks like Hollis is the Team to Beat this year in the M plus Division , and I am looking forward to playing them whenever we get the chance. There are a number of teams that took 5, 6 and 7th in the Championships and never saw a TOC and they weren't Reclassified. Who is the Master mind behind this....Dave Dowell?
