| May 9, 2008 bigdog | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Tournament order...is there one? tait i know where your coming from . the expense is probaly some thing that we canno,t do much about. i am glad that iam able to still play the game . i only hope that they can come up with asolution where we can have more teams in the bracket. i have run tourney myself it is no fun. iam just glad that the man upstair will still look over and keep us healthy. |

| April 27, 2008 bigdog | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: SPA TOURNAMENTS don,t feel bad i just played in the soring natl. in polk co fla. won the tourney and did not get anything. iam sure we will but that not the issue. we were told that the awards would be there in an hour.if we wanted to wait. i would still bethere waiting. no score keeper one umpire. teams had to wait some times 2 games to play and they had empty fields. to be a natl tourney it was not run to good |

| April 24, 2008 bigdog | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: springnationalpolkco. i just finished up playing in the spring natl. it was probaly the worst run tourney that i have ever played in. for a natl. tourney.how do you win the tourney and they have no award for you. they tell you that they are on there way they will be there in an hour. if you want to wait on them you can. they have since dec. or so when this tourney was schedule and they have no award for the winners. the time schedule was terrible. they had empty diamonds and teams had to wait 2or three games to play. you start at 9:00 and your last game was at 3:00 one umpire. no offical score keeper. the price you have to pay to get in these tourney is ridiculess for these kind of run tourney.would like to hear some kind of ans on this. one team was going to have to move up in class after the tourney was half over. |
| April 17, 2008 bigdog | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: schedule for polk. do you think that they will ever put out a schedule for polk co. so that we might know what were doing. some people have to travel and it would be a great help to let them know before they are supposed to play. i would think that if you know who coming you could put the schedule up a few days before the tourney start. |

| Jan. 22, 2008 bigdog | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: toc all you guys who can,t wait to get there must be playing in bracket where they have more than 2 teams. that great if you are. hope you are not in a bracket where there is only 1or2 teams. it is not to much fun to be there when you have no teams to play. they don,t give you a refund on your motel or air fare. when they don,t tell you until you get there that there is no team to play or there is only 1 team to play.. yea the party is nice but i can,t see going all the way to fla. just to have some free food. i love to play the game just as much as anybody . it getting to the point where it is getting to exspensive to go ther to play the same team 3or 4 times.that is why iam in favor of the bracket that has a problem odf not having more than 3 teams to let the last years champion in or the runner teams in. |
| Jan. 17, 2008 bigdog | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: let more teams in t.o.c. since there is so many negative reason for notletting teams in the t.o.c. that finished 2nd . if they want to call it a t.o.c. then let all the winner in all the assoc. that won natl. tourney in. some people travel to certain tourney and win but, can,t qualify because it not one of the tourney you have to win to qualify. iam thinking of the teams who can only afford to travel to so few tournaments. the teams who win the tourney that are not on the t,o.c. are kind of left out. that is why i think that a team who finished 2nd should be let in. only if the 1st place team can,t go |
| Jan. 14, 2008 bigdog | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: what if only 1 team can show up who do they play i can under stand the meaning of toc. how many times have you gone half way across the country to play the same team from your area or the same team you played in other tourney. it is no fun paying for air fare and motel to play 1 team or somebody out of your age bracket. for . a tea shirt or a trophy.that is why we are in the situation we are in . people don,t like to go pay the expenses to play in that situation. |
| Jan. 13, 2008 bigdog | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: letting team in toc that finished 2nd so you can have more team in the bracket were there is only 2 teams. why would not think of letting teams in bracket that have only 2 teams in them so we could have more teams to play. i sure you know that is a major problem with tourney now . there are no teams in bracket when we go to majors tourneys. how about letting the runners up in the tourneys that you have to win so you can play in the toc. i would like to hear some replys on this subject. thank you the big dog |
