I turn 72 today and still making left turns around the bases. Feeling very lucky and blessed. Merry Christmas to all.

Looking for a weeknight senior league in Orange County, CA or surrounding area. Not a rookie, been playing since 1961. I am 66. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Does anyone have a good used glove for sale? Both my gloves are on their last legs (like me), are beyond repair and my new one needs breaking-in.
Thanks.

Legend 24: I have been out of town for a few days. Do you still have a 34 X 26 Ultimate Weapon available?

Thanks

Looking for an original Demarini Ultimate Weapon, ideally 34/26. I'm told the "new" ones don't have as much pop as the originals. There is a very limited selection of bats we can use in our league. THANKS.

Discussion: A story about weather

In the 1960's in a small town near Syracuse, when it rained on tournament day, I remember the guys "setting the infield on fire" with kerosene to dry it our, drag it then it was game-on if at all possible.Things have changed - we would probably now be arrested for poluting!I,too came west to So Calif. Played my first adult softball game in 1961 and still going.

If someone knows what field(s) the Anaheim tournament on 1/31 is played on I would appreciate a response. Recently introduced to senior softball and would like to see the caliber of play. Thanks.

Mike Swearingen,

Any chance you played Softball in the Pomona area in the early 70's with Darrel Cosby, Steve Allen, Frank Wislon, etc. I played on that team for a while. I have played comtinuously since then - just turning 65 and looking to play senior softball. I live in Fullerton and I think my dentist (John Christensen) has mentioned you a few times. Anyway, if you have any ideas for me, I would appreciate hearing from you.

I'll be 65 in December and have played continuously since 1961. Most recently in city leagues but haven't played tournamants in 15 years. Never played in a senior league but figure it is time to start.
