Dirty,
See if you can find 10 friends to play in one of our tournaments. Come on out and play. Use any bats you like. If the majority of your team honestly doesn't have a good time, I'll pay half your entry fee. Now you have nothing to whine about. Put up or shut up

Thinking about getting back into OTL next year. 4 you guys not from SoCal sometime in your past, that stands for Over The Line. Haven't played in 10 years, and it turns out only Wodden "Official Softball" bats are allowed now. If anyone has an old one hanging around, that they dont want an arm and a leg for, please let me know. Contact at hottestbat@yahoo.com.
Thanks

Vito
I am fairly certain there are 4 or 5 Az teams. I know we will be there. Fortunately we don't have to travel for this one.
I know, when we travel, how hard it is. Not just the $,it wears you down. We all look forward to this one. It's more fun with lots of teams.
Stop by and say Hi.

Discussion: 2 bats for trade

I have a 28oz U2 in good shape that has the original ASA stamp on it. I would trade for the 29EL. The original U2's are a lot more durable than the new ones. Email at davega@wbhsi.net

Hombre the bat DOES NOT have the 1.20BPF rating. It is my understanding that an internal conflict between CE Composits the manufacturer, and a bat company kept it from being tested for certification. We will probably never know if it would have passed, or maybe even have been too hot to pass.

My prayers are with his family and friends. This should remind all of us that life is short and we should enjoy our relationships with each other. There is no telling when the last game will be played. I enjoyed playing Scrap Iron just last month in Palm Springs. They are great bunch of guys. I am truly sorry for your teams loss. We are all brothers in softball.

Discussion: Ultra II break in period?

I agree with Gary H. Make sure to rotate the bat while breaking it in. 20-30 hits should do it for most of the High Performance bats. Our biggest problem as seniors is we may take too much BP. Wet or heavy balls are bat killers. As for bat of choice, I have swung U2, Worth Launch, Combat and they all seam to hit about the same and last as long. The only failure I had was a loose end cap on the Combat. You can't have it both ways an ASA bat will last a lot longer, but won't hit as well. Wouldn't it would be great if these HP bats sold for $150 instead of $200. Just my 2 cents
