Discussion: Oooops there goes another U2.......

I too have broken many U2's before seeing an official game.I have NEVER broke a Combat MM OR Centenarian without hundreds of swings. The U2's and Rebok perform better out of the wrapper so you decide.

Discussion: yellow mm endcaps

The first few Yellow MM I purchased had the Target end cap.The newer version had the smooth end cap. Both bats performed well and lasted a long time.I did not see any difference in spite of a few players saying otherwise.

Discussion: Any feedback on Combat 2012 Mike Macenko Sen-GR2-E softball bat?

I have been a Combat guy for 3 years and the reviews are spot on.I have bought my first Centenarian and use it indoors as I watch guys breaking Mikens. They have moved to SB12's to save their bats.I have a cemetary of Mikens and Rebok's that performed well but broke easy.

Drop the bordering states rule so you can build a powerhouse that crushes everybody.Award first place only and do not recognize non winners.

Gary,I pitch and agree 100% with your last comment about the inconsistency without the mat.I have gotten frustrated at times with the size of the mat but think its one of the best advancements of our game.

Discussion: For the guys who still play with the kids.......

The "Kids" are using ASA bats that hit the ball farther than our senior bats and have middle wars chirping along the way.The senior game is so much better and I will continue to spend travel dollars to play it.We have great equipment and facilities. The tournaments are run well and the players are stand up guys.Local games can be fun under any circumstance costing a little gas money.

Same bats!LOL.I hope you would have someone to play in your best 2 out of 3 one day tourney. It will never happen. That works in your local senior village only.

Major 50/North Collier Park Sat.@5pm.My bat vanished between the coin flip and batting in the top of the first.Good Times,Fla.had just finished and saw the bat outside of our dugout. One of their fans had it in hand as she questioned her team.Three of the five fields were empty for the day.The bat bat was a 34/26EL Yellow Combat,Yellow Grip/Knobcuff.I waited thinking it would be found.I traveled without a bat bag for the first time.Where did it go?

Discussion: altered bat

I played a doubleheader in my Sunday fall league this week against a young team of strong players. My team which is over 50 can use senior bats. The kids used altered ASA bats and 4 different players hit balls that were 80-100 feet over a 285' fence. They chirped and hit middle throughout the 2 games which we split.I am told this is what goes on at many tourneys today. For once I am glad to a senior.

Discussion: mandatory move ups....

I like the 2 year idea. The current system broke up our team.Four All-American players have not played one game in 2011.The rest of us have found new teams to play on and the excitment is gone.We were not a Major+ Team and we were not going to bat 10 and sit 6 at the higher level.
