I am sure he is reffering to you, among others. Simply because your posts are often inflamatory. My perception is that you are nothing more than a manure stirer. Unless you are naive (stupid?) enough to believe you are just injecting thought provoking comments into these discussions.

I'm curious. Every pitcher I have played with (and myself the few times I have pitched) releases the ball and gets themselves in a fielding position. This is slopitch. I know the bats are hot and the ball can come back fast. But pitchers should have enough time to get in a defensive position in order to at least defend themselves against a shot up the middle. If not you should not be pitching. Or are you standing there watching what a great pitch you have thrown?

Does einstein/joe actually play on a team? Does he last more than one tournament with a team? If so, he must play with some tolerant people.

This is what helped kill softball in my area. Petty arguments, whining, fighting. It stopped being fun. I guess this is what you call a second childhood for some of you guys. Because you are acting like a bunch of spoiled little brats.

Are any of you guys who responded interested in taking some BP. I have a couple of 50+ friends interested in playing. Maybe we can get together and see what we have.

I am 51, in good physical condition and live in Bakersfield Ca. I have played competative softball in this area since 1973. I play first and outfield. Bat and throw left. I played for the Vigilantes and Henchman during the 80's and 90's. I have power and average speed. Also no major injuries. I am willing to try out. Email me at rmurrell@bak.rr.com. Thank you for looking.

I'd heard if I posted on this site I would get a chance to play softball again. It hasn't worked so far. I have posted twice in two years and no takers. I have played for over 30 years. I am 51 and in excellant condition. I am left handed and play outfield or first. I live in Bakersfield California but I am willing to travel. I am retired so travel for leagues or tourneys is not a problem. I am also willing to try out. Any interest would be appreciated. Thank you

I'll narrow it down. How about a team within 150 miles of Bakersfield. I am willing to try out. Any takers?
