Topic: Tournaments

Mens AA & AAA (50 age group) teams certainly comprise the largest # of entries in major tourneys such as RocknReno-Sending literally hundred of folks from Reno/Sparks area where historically we ALWAYS play, reserve discounted rooms FAR in advance and have established a sizeable and consistent financial boost to the local economy by our participation-makes no sense to suddenly state it's Carson City Time!!-Ask ANY team that now has their venue abruptly changed and the vast majority will agree with me--no offense to other age groups--but the smaller divisions would seem to be a better choice to play in Carson City--This is Rockn"Reno--not Carson City--if so, where and when did this change take place as courtesy dictates this decision be advertised from the get go so teams can truly decide if the inconvenience (not to mention the expense) is worth it. Organizers run a real risk of alienating vast numbers of dedicated folks. Z/Man
