Discussion: 50 plus major or AAA

last year i played for the texas silverbacks, i played first base for them. i made the all star team in georgia, all tournament team in tulsa and mvp in the texas state championship in nov. last year. because of financial problems i have not been able to make any tournaments this year, i have played local in arkansas where i am from

i hit for average and hit the long ball as well as anyone, i am a very good team mate and can make an impact just being on the team, i am very positive.
i am looking for a Major team or AAA, i would prefer a sponsored team but my situation is a bit better. i was picked up by a B/c team this year as well but since i could not commit to the silverbacks i have not played with them.
i can play 1st, 2nd, or lc,rc in the outfield, i will be happy to EH or catch on a good team. the backs have 14 players and the coach does not want to shake things up with the players they have, there are no hard feelings, i just want to play senior ball.
call me 501-6587875 or email me at rhinos40@aol.com. you will not be disappointed.

guys, i played in georgia and used my regular freak part of the time. it makes no difference to me what bat is useable, most guys that hit bombs are not going to care but, BE AWARE, IF YOU BAN THE ULTRA ll, THE SHAVED BATS WILL APPEAR, PLAIN AND SIMPLE. so it is six one way half dozen the other.

stick8, where is the tournament?? i don t care what bat is legal, i would love to play that foremat, except the out, i prefer the foul. a throw from center should be cut off by the first baseman if the throw is not high enough. anyway, email me at rhinos40@aol.com with details, would love to play if it is not too far.
thanks

Discussion: pitcher saftey

not long ago a tournament was thrown in arkansas which had 5 home runs a game and one up. any bat and any ball could be used. the pitchers mound had a screen. if the screen was hit it was a dead ball foul. the team i played for finished 4th so we were around all day. there were not that many balls hit at the screen. everyone was on an even playing field and there was no arguing what so ever. if it hit the screen it was a foul. period. you got no extra foul, so if you had two strikes and hit the screen it was foul then there were no fouls left. the tournament was a great sucess and everyone was happy.
just a thought.

Discussion: who hits it the longest

the long ball in arkansas is set for next april, i think, u can go to arkansas softball for more details.
when i started this post i meant for it to be about us seniors. our bats and the utrip elite ball, this ball is sick.
the participants would have to be card members of seniors.
if a guy hits it only 325 it will not help the team, the hitter has to be able to hit the moon shots.
it would be cool to have a rep from each division and have a hit off, maybe kinda like the long hall tour. you have to hit 10 balls and three rounds.
what do u think?? again great way to raise money for a charity, find a sponsor to donate money, maybe miken, worth and combat could supply the participants with bats, to hit on theur teams.

Arkansas is holding a home runs derby distance contest. it would be cool to have something like this for the seniors. 2 teams with captians, 10 players per team, ten swings, mark the distance, great way to raise money for a charity. who has hit the longest you have seen?? name them.
