I know many in this age group that still works. Days off are called vacation time. I was at a sports banquet earlier this week in Montgomery and talked with two 65+ guys who work and have plenty of vac time. Both upstanding men and good players. Just my two cents, good luck next season.

Joe Falcon, this is the Sports Lettering team with several former TAG 60 players. They are several players looking for a team in the 65+ but I assume they do not want them and are looking for the superstar players. I know a couple in the Montgomery and Birmingham areas looking.

Congrats Eurkine on winning the tourney regardless of whether it was AAA or M. Paco, you are right. If you play in a RB tourney you better play down one class because he will let teams play down.

Southpaw: I did not see the March tourney listed on the SPA site. Do you have some insider info? I assume you are talking about Montgomery.

Go to Classic Spring Training in Jacksonville, FL.in February. It is not as expensive and you get a bunch more BP. I have been to both and will not go back to The Winter Camp.

Since no one responded to an annonymous post, maybe if they knew the team name someone may be interested since it is a good team. Just my opinion.

Discussion: Any 60/65 Teams in East Central Mississippi

A good friend is moving to East/central Mississippi later this year. He will turn 65 next year but can play 60+. Is there is any teams in these age groups in East Mississippi? He is 6'-1", 220, good speed, average arm, can play IF or OF, .700+ hitter with occassional power

The Montgomery Swarm just won the SPA 50+ AAA and are near you in Montgomery. Don Howell runs the team. I don't know his number but maybe one of the board brothers can tell you.

One of the worst balls I have played with. I am a base hitter but felt it took away from ny extra base hits. Just my opinion. You are right Southpaw, homeruns and runs per game seemed down.

Paco13: I feel the same. In good faith, I paid for one in October, 2010. Yep, call me dumb for doing such but I keep thinking it will show up but honesty feel like I have been had. Maybe everyone who is waiting post and state when they paid. My brother tells me that I contributed to the development with my donation.

Sorry to disagree but not according to a local guy who sent you two in one week and has not heard back from you. It would be better to say most are answered in lieu of all. I think an update would satisfy most people.
