Discussion: Equalizer

What is the correct equalizer when 60AAA plays 60AA.We played this weekend as 60AAA and played a a couple of 60AA team and the AA team was given both the extra player and 5 runs. Played a 65AAA team and the same equalizer was applied. Is this correct???

Replace the insoles. My guess is they are flat as pancakes when they should have an ortho shape curve to them .Tear out the old and replace. I suggest Shock Doctor brand. In fact I replace the insoles even on a brand new pair of shoes.

Tim what Major team in any Major age group has won back to back in the last few years that would qualify as a "dynasty" team.

Gunny it is not up tp the shipping company or USPS to decide weather ot not to deliver packages without being signed for. This a request and a responsibilty of the Shipper. They all including USPS will leave packages without a signature if not requested by the shipper. Curly is correct claims start with the shipper...

Would it be allowed that a 50 major team drop and play 55AAA? Entire team.

Mario there in no logic in your statement.Because you "can't find a Plus team to play with we should never commbine Major and Plus"
If Major and Plus were combined it would be to your benefit. More teams-more opportunities. The sponsor statement makes less since for the same reason. You may have to join the club and pay your own way like the majority of us do. You hit the same size ball in Major as you do in PLus with or without a sponsor..

Discussion: Need Help On Selecting a ASA Bat

The FREAK 52 is great using the 52/300 ball but, even better with the 44/375 ball. No need to buy two bats.

FREAK 52 or 2014 WORTH Legit (the red one)would be my two choices for ASA bats. The Legit is 2 piece and more end-loaded that the Freak 52.

Discussion: "Weight Transfer, A Mistunderstood Key to Explosive Hip Rotation" Swing Makeover 22

The bat should naturally come out of your top hand as you pull and follow thru. You should not make an effort to "let go". I suspect the reason you feel you "slow down" or "don't hit the ball as hard" is because you are consciously thinking to "let go" and not simply taking a good hard swing at the ball.

Discussion: non-senior bat question

Oz, The Worth Legit is designed for the low compression ball. Not to be confused with the Senior Legit. Offered in 1/2 oz. weights. 26.5- 27.5 etc. I have it and the Miken Freak 52.Both are end-loaded. Both hit the ASA ball really well. My preference is the Legit.

Discussion: Best turf shoes out there

Tanel are ok but, stay I away from Boombah. Their shoes offer no support for your feet. For any of the turf shoes I would take the insole that they come with and throw then as far as you can. They are simply flat pieces of foam. Again no support to the feet Replace them with shock doctor inserts or something similar. If you don't buy new shoes for next season-you should still buy new insoles for your old shoes.
For Achilles and Plantar fasciitis issues.
Go here
I wear these in not only my softball shoes but,my everyday shoes as well.Wear these and you have no foot issues. I had Plantar fasciitis from wearing Boombah shoes. I have teammates that could hardly walk due to Achilles and Fasciitis that use the Heel Seats and no longer have foot issues.

Discussion: When Is It Bat Altering?

ok to use two knob cuffs.

We have not changed our position on this, but rather have simply issued a clarification in response to a specific inquiry ... Someone has misquoted, or you have misunderstood, what we stated ...

A second knob/flare is allowable, so long as it is commercially manufactured as a bat knob/flare AND so long as it is secured with tape not to exceed a thickness of two wraps around the knob/flare ... However, "building" a knob with athletic (or any other type) tape is not permitted.
