| Sept. 2, 2008 doubleplay2 | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: LVSSA tournamnet thoughts and observations Joe, Einstein, Good comments on the tournament and the ball. Sunday was a long day but it was also a lot of fun. Einstein, you did a great job of pitching in the very windy conditions. Keep up the great comments whenever you feel like posting a thought, it's always enjoyable to see what you and others are thinking. I am wondering though, not being on here very long--does "dirty" ever have anything positive to say about whats going on in Senior Softball? Joe, thanks again for getting me to the airport on time after our last game. |
| Aug. 15, 2008 doubleplay2 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Prayers for Joe Brown I just want to add my thoughts regarding Joe Brown. I've only known Joe for Three years but i have to say he is one of the nicest people i have ever met. I've had the pleasure of rooming with Joe acouple of times this year while playing for Mob50. We had some great conversations about Joe's past along with stories he told me about players in senior softball. There is no limit to what Joe will do to try and help the team. I'am going to miss having him around the team the rest of the season but i'm also glad that the pain he has had for the last couple of months is now gone. Joe will recover and be back on the diamond and i look forward to that day. Keep all your thoughts and prayers coming for Joe's recovery. |
