jah#4 Who is Christine Lee? Does she handle the warrantees if one is needed? BTW what is the warrantee on the Reebok since your buying from a individual? If there is a warrantee how does the factory honor it? The GBA has a 30 day warrantee and all sales and shipping are are from Gates in Phoenix. Just curious as to how this rep thing works.

We were in Hemet at the SCSSA event this weekend and the street talk is the Veteran GBA will give you the same pop for less $$$. Plus the SCSSA will have this bat for sale soon so they say. Donnie said they will have this bat in Phoenix. Check it out then. I'm told there will be some at the Huntsman this week also.

Hypothetically all but 5 are there now. The developer is thinking sometime next year for the rest... hypothetically. Something like what we are discussing might push him. I know he has the money! Discussions like this helps.

What if, Hypothetically speaking, there was a major ring tournament around the same time? Hypothetically it was about $500, Suppose you could actually win a ring instead of a certificate for a deposit on the entry level ring ($179) but a certificate for a 14 kt gold ring with your team, event and date. Hypothetically you could play on manicured fields in the best condition. Hypothetically there would be up to 20+ quality fields. Not like South Phoenix but quality. Hypothetically it was in Southern California. Hypothetically it would be called the US West Coast Nationals or the US Nationals or the North American Grand Nationals or the Grand Nationals and it could accommodate 120+ teams to start with. So how many of you would come to this event? This is not a scienctific but a hypothetic straw poll.

Discussion: Five run equalizer

We played in a SCSSA tournament in Temecula in June and they add the equalizer from inning one as apposed to inning two. This seems a whole lot better as you usually get 5 innings in. That way you get full advantage of the equalizer. Great tournament too. These guys do a great job. Here is their web site www.socalssa.com BTW home runs are not outs there also. I think they played the one up rule. I wouldnt know as non were hit in our 5 games. Fences are 310.

Jawood - As far as I remember the rules were the same as SSUSA with just a couple of exceptions. One of which (tate22) Don Newhard has pointed out. The other I think pertains to the pitching. Not sure on that one though. But when you get the rules you can figure it out for yourself.

All that participated in this one are here. http://socalssa.com/stats_2.html

Just 20 were there. I believe prize money is based on amount of teams entered. June winners got $175 - runner ups $75 The web site says they are giving out $14,000 this year

Tournaments are here: http://socalssa.com/Dates.html

As for top teams contact them to find out additional teams not listed yet

Also: Don't give the girlfriend the CC and send her to Old Town for the day. Don't have to ask me why I know this :O) Anybody doing the golf thing on Friday that they offer? ... How was it? How is the RV Park. Someone said it's nice. Is it?

I agree. Great weather and a beautiful facility. They have 2 or 3 more tournaments planned in Temecula then on to Diamond Valley Park. I hear it's a brand new facility with all sodded fields and free RV Parking. I heard someone talking about a Southern California Championship at the end of the year. I see they are posting a cash grand prize then too. Anyone checked out the pictures of the tournament yet on the web site?
