If Turn2 really believed in what they say they would play tougher competition(55's) rather than cancel out--just saying. They just missed winning the SSUSA Easterns this past weekend in the 55 major/major+ division so what gives???
sour grapes for such an outstanding team!!!

titanhd,
Not only are they the same team. They skipped the Friday prelims and were placed in the losers bracket to begin with but swept thru anyway.

USSSA should read SSUSA. For no apparent reason someone on the secret evaluation committe has deemed us an upgrade without earning it with a 55+ AAA win in a national tourney or by hammering opponents. In fact we haven't ever played SSUSA..... I hate to side with Einstein on this one but the 'secret gestapo' commitee has really outstepped its bounds on the reevaluation selection analysis.

ken,
whoa, a little sensitive aren't we. Yes ,we,Pace ,did lose to Double Nickels in the LVSSA 55+ finals(27-25) but we hold no grudges and accept the fact that we can compete with whatever level you find yourselves at.( We didn't win a single 55 AAA tourney last year but were deemed 55 major material by USSSA) In fact we relish the fact that we find ourselves able to play at 'your level'. But please hold your pity for us as we have never and will never retreat from taking on the challenge of competing with the best. We will never deny where associations find us to belong. In fact we await the opportunity to face Double Nickels at the earliest possible time and place to eradicate the distaste we have for losing to your inferior squad. If we had not missed our 4 starters in Vegas I am sure we would have crushed you inspite of playing 5 games in the 100+ degree heat. Tell your out of state recruits that we mean business the next time we face off and that we will hold no prisoners the next time we bring our town team out west to conquer the left handed multi-state sandbaggers. And bring Einstein, Duke's buddy, if you feel the need.....

Double Nickels wins in major after all their crying about being moved up last June from AAA. Guess they should be Major+ now in SSUSA..They get my vote for sandbaggers of the year.

Einstein,
man your schtick is getting old. Please grow up or shut up. This board is tired of your rants taking up space. Please quit it in the name of senior softball. Your persistent whining has become boring. Your challenges are like a little kid. Be a man please!
thank you!!

Happy Holidays fellow sports fans,
to:
SSUSA-- Holiday greetings and thanks for all you do

Duke- sorry to hear about that arm injury. We were looking forward to a rematch at full strength. Happy Holidays to you and your dime a dozen teammates.

Hi-Jacker/Einstein- Einstein won't recognize your posts because your info isn't public so why support him. Please let's debate but stop qualifying people if they have an opinion that doesn't align with your own.

Dirty- you got to love him or hate him but without him it's boring at times . Glad to see you back after your three week hiatus you controversial son of a gun. (p.s. did you sandbag the London Ontario tournament a few years ago?)

Michigan Vet- Holiday Greetings from the upstate NY bunch. Don't put any money down on Bageby's at the TOC!

JIM16- missed your homerun barrage at Dalton but glad you caught ours. stay home and keep drinking that acai.

to the rest of the regulars here- keep swinging, we'll work it out in the end. safe travels in the upcoming year and let's play ball!!

for the love of the game--##7

Discussion: Vegas

Corky- slight correction to your post. We had booked what we thought was the 55AAA weekend when in fact the dates were changed after our flight arrangements. We could not play back to back weekends with the Vegas tourney so we decided to stay with the 50AAA and take our licks. We actually asked Ridge to drop us to the 50AA because we hadn't won any 55AAA all year.( 2nd place in Salem, Va and 2nd place in Panama City -USSSA ) so there wasn;t a division drop down! We figured we would just get some games to tune up for Vegas. We got beat by Monstor Softball and squeeked by CJ&S 34-33. The multiple home runs game was a very wind aided event. We also had a game where only one hr was hit. Bottom line this is our first year in 55's , we are not on the rankings due to no fault of our own, and we will not shy away from the opportunity to play up next year. Congrats again to Double Nickels. We look forward to playing you again sometime.

Leoslocks & 4x4,
Thanks for your kind words about our team PACE. We certainly were fortunate to sustain our hitting all tournament long. The competition was great and we will not forget the classic 34-33 battle with C&J. It was great to meet some new teams and faces. The tourney was well run and the facilities top notch. Our thoughts go out to the Houston team that had to return home as well as all the families caught in the path of IKE.
Safe travel to all--- PACE

did Joe just indict himself? respect is a fleeting honor.
We should not bow to the level of those that anger us. That is the sign of a real man. I guess I'll get called out next !!
