Discussion: Approved Bats under the 2010 SSUSA rulebook

Being new to the senior world and reading the rules it appears they would have to allow it unless like you said they come out with a banned bat list like ASA. There must be at least 20 or 30 bats with the ASA 2000 stamp that is now banned in ASA. All of which are still good in Seniors. The ASA is the official ASA Stamp not an imitation. Until last year I never knew about the rare ASA stamped Grey Ultras and I bet the majority of the organization does not know or they would have clarified the rule better. The way it reads this would be considered legal...

Discussion: Approved Bats under the 2010 SSUSA rulebook

From January 2000 to July The original Miken Ultra maxload was approved and had the 2000 ASA stamp on it. In July ASA decided to ban it so Miken continued to make but without the ASA Stamp. I have one of these rare Ultras and from what the rules are saying this would be legal to use. That is why I wanted clarification...

Discussion: Approved Bats under the 2010 SSUSA rulebook

Does anyone know or can clarify under 3.4 (4) of the 2010 rules (pg 20)concerning approved bats states "All bats with 1.21 BPF or less, SSUSA approved or has an ASA Stamp are approved for use". So are we saying ANY bat that has a ASA Stamp (2000 or 2004)can be used?

Discussion: Looking for a 55/50+ team in the Sierra Vista, Tuscon, Phoenix Area

I am relatively new to the Arizona area coming back from Japan after 10 years where I formed and played on an international team throughout the Orient (Bangkok, Manila, Korea, Singapore, Japan, etc) and looking for a team to play on for tournaments. I like to travel as my international team locations show and would like to start playing in seniors'tournaments, which I was unable to do overseas. I am 57 and play 3rd base for the local senior team I am on, and before coming to AZ my forte was pitching for over 20 years. I also play 1st, and second(shortstop too but do not have the arm or range of younger shortstops when playing in open divisions). Though starting the last part of the season last year here in AZ, (Oct 11 and ending the last of Nov) in our local senior league I ended up having the most homeruns of anyone in the league.
