| Jan. 31, 2011 Big D from Tennessee | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Miken Titanium Bats - Is it Legal for SSUSA Guys, in a cost saving move - I have been taken BP - exclusively with a Miken Titanium Bat (Ebay Special 130.00) It does not have as Much POP as a Senior Bat! But is has good pop for BP purposes!! No Dings, No Cracks, No Rattles PLUS a 18 month warranty. I just noticed that the Advertising states that it is Legal for SSUSA - Is this true?? Big D |
| Jan. 18, 2011 Big D from Tennessee | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: World Famous Woodland Hills Hitting Club Just finished my "Hitting Love Fest" @ The Woodlawn Hitting Club - I enjoyed my time in the Greater Tampa / St.Petersburg Area. I got a chance to go over to Lakeland - and the Fields looks good for the TOC. Dave Pop's North and his crew were gracious host as usual. Today after a rainy monday was still Great - The field held a Lot of Water - But by mid morning (10:00am or so) the grounds crew had it hittable and looks like they will be able to play thier league games later today! Softball Vacationers - What a great area of the country to visit during Jan-Feb - When it is COLD and DREARY in your city!! | Jan. 16, 2011 Big D from Tennessee | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: World Famous Woodland Hills Hitting Club Just completed 1st day of Intense Hitting at "Woodlawn" Hitting Club today, WoW what great weather to hit in 70's . Dave North (727 463-22070 is the contact - He brings the "Balls" and he gets the permit to use the fields. I was using my Reebok Meelee and it was very agreeable with the warm temps - I aslo used my Yellow MM and the balls were (Really - Really) flying. We will hit again Tuesday AM (not at 7:45) I will be there around 9:00am - weather permitting. Mad Dog it is worth the drive to meet and hit with Dave "Pops" North at WOODLAWN Field #1 They have a Police Firing Range Building behind the Field - 90-100 feet. They use it as a wall of fame - for telling stories at breakfast - of who can hit-em on top of the bldg. So Join the Club Big D |

| Jan. 15, 2011 Big D from Tennessee | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: World Famous Woodland Hills Hitting Club Guys, I headed to Tampa / St.Petersburg Florida for a few days Sat-Tues. I will be hitting with a great bunch of guys (Dave North "Pops") and his crew. The weather is forecasted to be in the low 70's. I would recommend to anyone visiting the Greater Tampa Area to stop in at the Hitting Venue at least once. Hopefully my Reebok Melee will survive after (300-400) swings in 3-4 days??? I will look forward to seeing everyone at the TOC in a few weeks. GO Metro Stars! Big D |

| Nov. 15, 2010 Big D from Tennessee | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: REEBOK PARTY @ FT.MEYERS & NAPLES I Just got back from playing in the 2011 Winter Nationals in Ft.Myers, FL. Played 6 games with My Metro Stars 50 Major Team out of Northern VA. With a 3-3 Record good for 4th or 5th Place. The good news was that it seemed like a REEBOK SENIOR BAT Party weekend. Several players on different teams were swinging the New Reebok Sr.Bat in game competition. I watched the 60's, 50's and 65's Blast HR's over 325 foot fences and hit(Lazer Like) Line drives thru the infields. The REEBOK held it's own with the Ultra 2's and the Combats - in head to Head Action. One of my teammates (Bear Chandler) and myself we hit balls that still might be flying!!!!!. For those Seniors that have played thier last tournament for 2010 - Consider trying out the REEBOK MEELEE for 2011. You can contact ANY Promo Rep in your area for more info!! | Oct. 24, 2010 Big D from Tennessee | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: PHEONIX - UNKIND TO SPA CHAMPIONS We Just completed our Tournament run in Pheonix, AZ 55 AAA Division. We went half loaded into a good tournament as got the welcome response the a Recent Champion gets in the very next tournament that they play in!! (1-4) We got everybodies better games. They were several good Teams out here in Pheonix - We lost our last two games by one run each!! The Reebok bat got off to a rocky start from the Tournament Organizing bodies - 1st they were call Illegal - then after several calls to Curt Hollis and Reebok - They were deemed Legal - Go Figure?? I noticed a few of the Promo reps trying out the bats in several games - The ball was really flying thru the infields and the line drives were lazer-like. The Official Ship date for players recieving thier bats will be December 1st. Every man likes the type of woman that he likes! As for bats - Every man likes a certain feel, a certain pop, a certain sound, a certain touch - Mainly how long will the bats LAST?? As you have read in earlier post - The Reebok has great durability. You make your choice of women - So you will have to make your choice of Bats!
