If you are willing to play at the top division, why should you be penalized for being the best.

Maybe we should stop keeping score and call all the teams in the tournament co-champions. Oh wait Mom and Dad are already doing that in T-ball.

These teams are what they are because they want to play with their friends, the same people they played with coming up through the younger circuits.

If some of their friends have retired or moved to another state, why can't they still play together? Why do you always want to penalize the more talented players?

Why should a group of friends playing at the rating given to them by the governing association have to break up because they win too much if they are already playing at the highest level?

Do we tell the class Valedictorian that He/She is too smart and they are not allowed back in the school until they get dumber?

If not, why would we do this to our bretheran on the softball field?

SSUSA staff, that is nice and all but check your hotels. everyone of them says reservations must be by Nov 1 or earlier.

With your new rule of having to be at the park 30 minutes before game time, I would like to be as close to the park as I can. I appreciate the discounted hotel rates but would prefer to know where we are playing before we book those rooms.

kbl...Just because they are accepting teams until 11/1/11 doesn't mean we should have to wait for field assigments or day of play. SSUSA fees are already high enough. So if we wait until two weeks before the tournament to know when we need to fly in it just raised the cost of our air fare.

SSUSA usually spreads their tournaments out over a two week period, so why don't they have stagered entry cut offs. Whatever fields are used during week two should not effect what fields are used during week one.

For the prices they charge for entry fees, which are more than standard USSSA or ASA
fees, they should be working with us a little more.

Come on SSUSA get rolling on this so we can make our travel arrangements. It is less than a month away for the 40s and you still can't tell us what fields we are playing at or when the games will actually start. Flights get more expensive everyday that we have to wait.

I'm with JK, but I don't think we are going.

Let me get this straight. First Headbully cries to SSUSA about JK. Then after the regular season is completed SSUSA changes the rules for the world tournamnet in
Phoenix. Now I see Headbully(10 catchers) isn't even playing in the tournament, yet you BOWED down to his WHINING.

Way to go SSUSA, you caved in to a crybaby then he doesn't even bring his team to the tournament.

Why would you change your rules one month before worlds when teams are formed by your rules at the begining of the season?

You showed very poor management skills and horrible judgement in doing what you did. If you need to change something you change it before the new season starts not just before the old season ends. It's like the blind leading the blind.
