| Jan. 23, 2016 Pieman | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: TOC Berths I just read how SSUSA is giving awards to teams that are the only one in there age bracket and classification. This is the correct thing to do. My problem is when you sign up to play in a Championship Tournament as we did last March ISA Winter Nationals and are the only team in our age group and classification, we had to play against the younger age group and were not awarded the TOC berth. Getting 5 runs or an extra infielder is not enough to make up for players 5 years younger, stronger and faster. Plus in our case being a Major team, we could not even use the quota of 6 home runs. Had to play under AAA rules. We paid our entrance fee, booked flights and hotels. Is it our fault no other teams attended. I think SSUSA should reconsider at least awarding the TOC berths in the future when this situation arises in 2016. Mike Santo Promotion 60 Major |

| Dec. 7, 2015 Pieman | Topic: Rules of the game Discussion: Team Regions §13.1(3) • TEAM REGIONS OF SSWC– A 2014 Rules Committee instruction for SSUSA staff to study player density statistics in the Northeast was considered for potential implementation of a change. Following an analysis of the Northeast, it was proposed that the Northeast states of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont be merged with New York and treated as a single state for the application of the state and bordering states roster composition. • PASSED UNANIMOUSLY If I am reading this correctly, New Jersey and Pennsylvania can draw players from the above mentioned states since they are now merged with New York.
