| Feb. 27, 2011 teetime | Topic: Website comments Discussion: TOP GUN A TOP SHELF MESS What a shame the top gun tourney was the weather man isnt always right but this storm was one that everyone knew was coming for over a week and it seemed they [the weather watchers]were all 110% sure about this one yet this tournament went on ignoring these weeklong spot on predictions as a result teams from as far as new york got only 2 friday games my team was told sat morn to wait until sat at noon for an update as it was raining now for 8 straight hrs then at noon they said to wait for another update sunday morning even though it was still raining we even went to the fields to see they were a no brainer to cancel the event so as we scratched our heads and felt the pinch in our wallets we were stuck and forced to stay nother night in the hotel and then at approx 6 pm sat!they pull the plug on playing sunday WOW another great decision are u kidding me ssusa what an avoidable waist of time and money my team spent approx 300 each for everything and we are some of the lucky ones having drove 2-3 hrs to get there what the new york team spent is nuts somebody should have stepped up and stopped this mess b4 it started this was a real SHAME and we all hope a lesson is learned and that many good customers get an apology and some restitution |
