Mad Dog,
No, we have league and tourney fees,
but local sponsors pick them up. No expense to me.
No, I talk to everyone. I play the corners and I love to take that rocket hit from someone. It is quite a challenge that I choose to accept.
I know pitchers and infielders who have been rocketed with some shots,
but they choose to keep on playing.
I know one pitcher who quit pitching
that should never even pitch ASA ,
absolutely no mobility but needed the
ego trip.
I live in the midwest and we are done
'til spring. I envy anyone who lives where they have a longer season.

mad-I forget to mention that I also
played 1 nite ASA fall
& 2 nites NSA fall
& 3 SPA Summer tourneys
$ the Huntsmen Games

But I guess my real point is I play
all local ball for no cost .

I will not pay to fly, lodge, share in tourney fees and all the other expenses to any
SPA-HUNTSMEN-SSUSA-LV-or other tourneys who don't use LIVELY BATS & BALLS .
That's my final answer.

And I can say all the people I talked to this season agree!

3 nites a week ASA
2 nites a week NSA
Wed. a.m. senior doubleheaders
ASA weekend tourneys
NSA weekend tourneys
8 SSUSA tourneys

Whether it was ASA,NSA,local senior
or SSUSA - I enjoyed it all

Each organization has different sets of rules and equipment to use

If I don't like what the rules are
I don't cry I just won't waste my time

I pick and choose the ones to attend
You can too

No,I would not spend the money to travel to any tournaments that do not use a good bat/ball combination. I'll still play in my area. I'll still fish and play golf.

The form that I would sign would say that I don't use altered bats.
flydub:Ban him for life and let him get his ass sued, and if he signed the form more power for the pitcher's lawsuit. Remember I love the hot corner.

#6-- Doesn't cost anything to sign a form.--we have the ball.--we have the bat.--pitchers have to sign a waiver if they don't use the shinguards and mask, what are the hitters afraid of? I'll sign one.

Discussion: poll:who would like

People move into new communities all the time, because they like it. Then they get on zoning, planning, beautification committees, etc. and want to change things. We just tell them they should go back to where they came from. The balance is here in all divisions. I knew the rules when I joined SSUSA, SPA, etc. and that's why I play. AA, AAA, & MAJOR, that,s where I've been.

We can use senior bats. If someone needs to cheat BAN him for life. Every time someone joins SSUSA or other associations make them sign a form that they will turn over their bat to have it checked out if there is any question. For current members have them do it when they renew.

Discussion: picher's safety equipment

Merry Christmas -- If you think of one's safety, what about hygiene? Who want's to use a face mask that someone else sweated all up or even spit all over? Shin guards would have to be sprayed between every inning, just like rental bowling shoes between every user.

Discussion: The majority did speak for themselves in 2009--

Lots of interesting comments here. Just like pitchers have a choice to wear what they want, we have the right to choose an ASA, USSSA or a Senior bat. - Player25 is going to a gunfight, has just been polled and decides Senior bat. - Paco13 says he is a great line drive hitter but only uses a Senior bat because Player25 explained it for him. - I wonder if Mr. Manassas chooses to use a lessor bat so the normal guy can react? - curty says he is good hitter but hasn't said if he will use a lessor bat so his opponents will have more opportunities on defense just like he wants. He doesn't want to hurt a senior but survival dictates. - butch17 so, if the USSSA bats are for a lessor ball and you don't like a Senior bat, will you be choosing an ASA bat? -- Remember, the next time you go up to the plate -- it's your right to choose.
