Omar: I'm happy to hear that I'm not ALONE !!!!!!
We need more teams speaking up on this issue. Winning a tournament should not be an exercise of futility.

Ho: Thanks for your input, that's a practical approach. To me, the key point was no more then 3 games in a day.
I also think SSUSA should take the lead in evaluating the consequential damages of players playing 5 games in one day. Medically, it a potential disaster waiting to happen !!!!!!

For 70's, playing 5 games in a day is a challenge ?????, I think its insanity !!!!

Thank you ssusa for your input. I'm hoping that most of these 70 teams realize that if they have one bad game and fall into the losing Bracket they have little to no chance of winning. The mountain is just to high to climb.

I just want to throw this out and get some feed back. I play 70 softball and the Double Elimination format is a killer for most teams falling into the losing Bracket. You asking 70 year old players to win 5 games the last day to win a tournament.
I feel at this age, no team should play more then 3 games on any day. When fatigue sets in, that's when players get hurt and asking us to play more then 3 games in one day is a problem.
It would be nice for Senior Softball to develop formats for any team not having to play more then 3 games on any day.
Would like to hear other opinions on this subject.
Thanks,

Discussion: 60 player living in Arizona looking for a team

I know a very good player who would like to play on a 60 triple or double "A" team in the Winter Worlds. Good hitter, Good outfielder with speed. He is also new to senior softball an has no rating.
Any team interested, email me at rickcor9521@gmail.com and I will send you his name and tel #.
Thanks,

The big positive with the 1 and 1 count is there is less standing around on defense and keeps the game moving.
Just my opinion

I thought Tri-State had to be beat twice by Minn Prize and last I heard, it came down to the IF game.

I want to comment that with all my dealings with Rick, I always found him to be fair, a standup guy and easy to work with.
