Don: are you trying that triple A thing again this year? We are not going to make Montgomery this year, which is too bad cause it gets us out of this cold, Lagoon park is one of the nicest fields and that tournment is always well run. Good luck there and we will see you soon. FRAN

Dave: please correct me if I am wrong, but it is my understanding that if a team does not participate in the intial bracket play then that team would not be allowed to play in the double elimination championship segment? Just looking for an offical interpretation as I am not playing in this particular tournment.

Discussion: Just Come and Play tournment

Rabbitt: thanks for the comments and interest. The tournment will be held in 2007, not enough time to put it together the right way for 2006. Wont be anywhere near the $595 we paid to enter the SPA nationals in Plano. We would think the tournment will be a Friday, Sat and Sun. However if we get a great response we could open it up to start Thursday becuase the facility is at our disposal. The complex is located in North Branford, CT only 30 minutes from Bradley airport in Hartford, CT.

Player. Coaches and Sponsors: With all of the chat about what happened in Rock Hill, SC at the NSA National tournment, we, the Connecticut Sportsplex team are seeking interest in playing at the finest 5 field complex in new England for a tournment for 8 Major plus, 8 Major and 8 AAA teams to come and just play. We are thinking a fall time period in New England will provide great weather and hopefully not interfere with other tournments. Your questions, interest and comments are welcome. We believe that the fewer the rules the better but we are open to your suggestions. We have the venue , now we want to see who wants to come and play. Give us a shout.

Discussion: World Softball Association (WSA) Seniors World Tournament September 15-17,2006 Atlanta Georgia

Bruce/Donnie: the CT Sportsplex 50 major plus team is working with Ernest to attend this tournment in September.Airfares are reasonable at the moment. Trying to see if Ernest will make this a Sat and Sunday tournment so the players wont need to take off from work. It is out understanding that only 4 teams might be in this competetive category, so we are questioning the need to make this a 3 day event. Please respond with any information you have at this time. Donnie, congrats on your SPA championship.
