With the technology we have today there is no reason why results can't be posted almost immediately after a game even though games are played at several sites.

Discussion: World results

Wait about week and all results will finally get posted. What I don't understand is, with technology the way it is today with computers and cell phones, why can't the scores be posted within minutes after a game is completed?

Discussion: LAS VEGAS

Just want to commend Bill Walsh and his staff for another outstanding tournament at Las Vegas. The LVSSA people couldn't do enough to make the out of town teams feel welcomed and wanted. The fields were good and the umpiring was above average. All in all another fine job by LVSSA and looking forward to returning in 2011.

Discussion: DESERT WEST "BAD"

Fields were great, maintenance was excellent and the complex is very good. However, the area surrounding the park is not good. Three cars were broken into and three women were approached in the parking lot including one of the wives from our team. She was approached by two guys in the parking lot demanding cigarettes. Fortunately for her there were two ball players sitting in a car nearby. They seen what was taking place and proceeded to get involved. Of course the two guys took off in a hurry. I brought this up to Fran and let her know if we're scheduled for either Desert West or Cesar Chavez in 2010 we will not return.
