Discussion: Warm up bats, heavy or light

I talked to a college hitting coach (retired) and he said what many of you have stated. On deck swing your game bat and to warm up before the game starts swing a heavy bat or two bats. On deck you should swing as fast as you can two or three times.
Also he said to not be concerned with MLB players and what they do. Their swing is light years from what we do and we should not try to copy the routine of a player that advanced. Thanks for all the feedback and I can see why players like this board so much.

Discussion: Ultra bats

We have just started using the Baden senior balls. So far we find they fly better the Trump but not my much. Price was better by a few bucks.

How is this bat up against the MM or U2 ?
Anyone use it in tournament play yet ?
Might get one just to try.

I hear two sides on this issue. For a warm up bat should you use a heavy bat or one lighter than your game bat ?
Thank you for your reply and advice.
