Bballer3, I know what you are talking about, for me, I still get that trampoline on the mush balls with the senior bats in heat.. I don't cut the ball much, so I'm sure that's why I tend to get more out of what that bat has to offer than the next guy.. I used to go heavy before senior bats in those situations and I definitely got more exit speed!

no matter what the date, every bat in all other sactions are not better out of the wrapper than a senior bat.. SSUSA knows this and doesn't mind you using a ASA Utrip or NSA bat... However if you use a modified version of those bats and someone finds out about it.. the person using it and his coach will be suspended for that year. I wouldn't even bother swinging anything else unless it's below 60 degrees!

everyone keeps asking about factory! They Didn't own a factory nor did they Pay a factory to produce their bats as they needed to make a go of it...they had a run of bats for their beta testing, however GSC didn't have anyone to produce their bats.. They were asking Demarini if they could make their bats for them towards the end... At the end of the day, 3 to 5 million $$$
didn't go to the effort to produce a bat company.. Two homes rented for personal use at 17k a month and the high life is closer to the truth..

You have to wonder, She put in two million of her own money? Into what? They had no factory, and no one producing anything.... then to go after another 3 million and still no factory and no bats being produced....I feel sorry for those who were taken advantage of!

I think Bkb555 has said it all...whole thing was a joke from beginning! When you can't get a bat to market because you have no one to manufacturer the bat, it's BS to take anyone's money! To many good bat companies out there to waste money on a company's promise of a fantasy bat as they put it!

L, don't you think it's unfair to the lower divisions that a team can changed it's roster for worlds up to and over 50 percent! That is the only issue that bugs me. Why have qualifiers? If you can change a teams starting lineup by that many people, you cannot gauge what that team can do! Teams play all year together and SSusa gets a pretty good Idea where they should be, however with the amount of pickups allowed, that changes the whole picture...

I say two pickups at most, that's 20 percent of a starting lineup.. That alone can have a lot of impact depending on who your team is and who you pick up... anything more than that is absurd, and that team should be bumped to the next highest division when picking up more than two, IMO!

Discussion: New Rules

I agree with you L, Why have qualifiers if you can change over 50 percent of a starting team... How can you even rate a team that picks up 5 to 8 new players. Seems to me if you want to pick up more than 2 guys you should have to play at the next level up! Anytime you can change more than 20 percent of a starting team, the rating of that team should change.IMO

Now the way it worked for us this year, is we picked up one player... who was on our roster all year and played with us all last year and the year before.. so when SSUSA says that all 500plus team made a change to their rosters.. Keep in mind that our change was someone already on our team that couldn't play with us this year do to work(but could come to Vegas).. We could pick him up for this Tourney, however in Western Nationals no dice... Kind of screwy don't you think?

Then they allowed another team, which I won't mention pick up a starting pitcher out of Vegas that didn't play one inning with that team all year.. Go Figure..

Discussion: INFIELDER or OUTFIELDER?

It is a call at the discretion of the umpire.. if the umpire feels that they could let the ball drop and turn two on the play infield fly rule would be called.. doesn't matter how deep they are! If the ump feels they could turn two on a ball in play then the infield rule would be called...

Discussion: new rule 6.16 WIND OR SUN AFFECTING BOTH PITCHERS

I agree with 16wood, it seems silly to move the pitcher for the hitters when the hitters are not in danger, however having a pitcher pitch when he can't see, is a Brutal life threatening situation..

Scheduling games on sun fields at these poor visibility times is not right for everyone involved.. My team decided to boycott a tourney in north cal because of this situation.. my team played on that sunfield at the same time three years in a row, and in 2014 we played three games in a row.. nobody could see.. (which I rather stay home than play in crap like that)IMO

Discussion: EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR RULING • WMC 50-Major Matter

Lee Lee, I have to friends on your team.. Two of my best friends.. one 60 years old and one 53 to start this season.. Mike told me that he told the team to go to 55 this year and he would play north cal events with the team and wait a year for SSUSA... Tim cutting two 50 year olds isn't even close to the truth.

Tim was not so PC about his delivery of his thoughts, however when you look at what is possible with adds to a WMC roster, there seems to be some room for improvement..

The way I look at it is, you could build a Major plus team to compete in the Major division with the way the rules are.. Any team being able to pick of a potential of 7 to 8 new guys that have never played one inning with that said team is a travesty to the division...why have Qualifiers?
