I am looking to play 60 or 65 Major or AAA. I am currently rated Major and have been pitching for the High Street Bucs 60 and 65 for last 5 years. It looks like we won't have a 65 team this year so I am looking for a team for 2024. LMK

Discussion: Crazy ACC Schedule Change

NO teams start earlier than as had been originally scheduled and posted ... Good luck! This is what SSUSA posted in there "space" at the top of the page.
Well, they were wrong. Our start times for 55 major on Saturday went from 3 PM to 8 AM.(there was going to be one 12:30 game on Saturday for the losers of games played on Friday)
We also start at 8 am on Friday, which did stay the same. 8 am start two days in a row, and maybe three if you come back through the losers bracket, just doesn't seem fair. 55 Major is now the only bracket having to play at 8 am all three days.
We still have the same amount of teams in 55 major but for some reason, one team less in 50 major and our whole schedule for 55 major is changed.

breakdown of start times

50 major, 11 friday, 9;30 on saturday
50 AAA, 8 friday (one team), 1230 saturday
55 major, 8 friday , 8 saturday
55 AAA , 12:30 friday, 8 saturday
60 major, 2 friday, 1230 saturday (one team)

What's wrong with this picture?

I know the schedule is "not official" until the managers meeting, but that is a big change for one team dropping out.
I'm done with my rant, I'll be there and will continue to play SSUSA, they just got it wrong this time. They usually get it right.

Imagine that, another negative comment from Gary19 that has nothing to do with the intent of the post or the person responding! Someone really needs to get a life!

Rik56, my comment was not addressed to Norq44 at all except to ask him to continue posting in spite of the one that is always trying to stir up trouble here. I think most people know who that individual is including him, especially as he was the first to respond to my comments.

Norq44, it's the same crap here from a very, very small percentage of people who have a desperate need for attention, exhibited by their negative responses in just about EVERY post they make. Their goal certainly appears to be intentionally antagonistic and controversial to make themselves the center of attention here which is likely the only place in their life that they can achieve that. Please don't stop posting because of them, post in spite of them

cal50, you say most people on here are helpful but was your post helpful or just like some others on here that believe name calling is the way to address people when you do not like or agree with their views?

Discussion: Bat Doctor Needed

It is a simple issue and if you don't get it, you don't get it or you just want to try and antagonize people. You use the senior bats because you want and have to use the best equipment you can to compete against the other teams that use them as it gives you the best chance of winning. I completely agree that senior bats are not necessary and should not be allowed but THEY ARE! GET OVER IT! The same hit with a USSSA bat that may be snagged by an infielder is past him for a hit quicker with a senior bat. The same single between 2 outfielders with a USSSA bat may be a double with a senior bat. It doesn't have to all be about distance, its about hits period. Even the best hitters could not argue that a hotter bat is not an advantage unless they just want to argue! In the big tournaments many here play in, you can not let the other team have the advantage of a better weapon, so you use the best weapon you can.

Omar, good point that he "appeared" to start this thread with a legitimate question. However, after looking at all his subsequent posts, I can only conclude this one was actually started knowing the controversy it would stir up. I was also going to reply that he jumped on Wagon's thread after he denied doing it to other people's threads but I said I would not reply to his posts any more, so I didn't.

I find it very interesting that someone's very first post on this board is to stir up trouble and every post since then has followed suit. It brings back some very unpleasant memories of the board filled with name calling, negativity and other personal attacks that have been absent for a while, much to the delight of many here. If you know so much about the two suspended posters, yet this was your first post under the name logan, then you obviously used to be on here another name which some have alluded to here. If you do not like the way topics are being discussed on here, why don't you quit the whining and complaining and just go away. But no, like with your supposed friend Gary C (wink, wink), that will not happen. You will continue to hijack threads, contribute nothing worthwhile and generally just be a thorn in everyone's side. That said, I will take one piece of advice from you and never respond again to any of your negativity and worthless input you post here.

Wagon487 is Pat. He thought he was putting the keys in my bag and I tore my bag apart a few times looking for them before he figured out he probably put them in a different bag.
