We all share a respect for each other I no our MTC 55 team enjoyed the great completion. Lets hope these team fair well at the Worlds if I was a betting man I bet they would. |

The Major Team shouldnt be elimated because they got a bad draw. If all the Major Teams played against the Plus team let it stand. It seems like all the Tournments we played we seemed to get the same teams 2 or 3 times in the Tourn. They dont like it either do we different Teams are always better. By the way great job at the Cal Cup. KURT MTC 55. |

The competion was also good. The 1-1 count speeds the game up an makes the hitters more aggressive. MTC 55 wishes all organizations went to 1-1 counts. |

| July 18, 2011 Longhorns | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: How do the other major teams feel about major and major plus in western national When i first starting reading this forum i was confused but i understand the feelings of the major team players especially MTC. These played a Major PLUS TEAM in the seeding then had to play them again in the first game of the bracket games. They went to the losers bracket an thats really hard to go all the way though the losers bracket unless you have some guys to help give players a break. When the brackets came out for the Tourn. i was happy they let the Major Plus play a 9 team Tourn. instead of a two team. The competion was good no blow outs the field conditions were tough wind blowing in an 11 players on the field made it harder to get a hit at times unless you hit it square. Tim there is a problem nobody wants to be classifed as Major Plus due to the fact no MP teams ever go to the same Tourn. an there are not that many. Its no fun to go to a three day Tourn. an have 2 to 4 teams in the Major plus Division an see 10 plus in the Major playing in the same Tourn. Congrats to the East Bay Oldies they have played some good ball the last couple of weeks. |

| May 26, 2011 Longhorns | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Rock n Reno 50+ Major predictions I like MTC the Barrons an MTC had a 30 to 27 game early this year with MTC winning a great game. Rapid Erectors are also very solid a very good defense an some good hitters. I think MTC can win this Tournament if they play with intensity. I love to see Joe get his Knuckle ball working against the Erectors an let his offense bang the rock. Good luck to all the teams should be some very competive games. |

I agree with you the balls were jumping off the USSSA bats made it alot of fun to hit. How about that Miken Super Freak what a great bat its as close to a senior bat as i have found when broken in. Hope to see you guys in Merced in two weeks. Jeff the guy running the tourns trying to get some teams from Fresno, Bakerfield area to come down.
