Beas, give Wendy our best. We are keeping Roger in our prayers and know he will be back on the field soon. One of the nicest guys I have ever played with and the best shortstop in the game. David & Barb McDermott

DCPete, Beasley, right on! I voted for the 1-1. Standing in the outfield on a hot day watching your pitcher throw 7 pitches to every batter and then having your catcher let most of them get past his glove all the way to the backstop, plus waiting on pinch runners is a real pain! More at bats please.

Discussion: SLIDING!!

I prefer to slide anytime the play is going to be close. I always have a sliding pad on and wear long pants more often now too. I hurt myself more by trying to stop standing up and likely will get tagged out more often.

Thanks Mike. My red is really hot right now, so I am expecting breakage soon. This was the second one I owned and had the best of luck with them for pop and durability. The white one will be my next bat for sure. Thanks, David

Webbie, it was great to talk to you again at the TOC. We let another one get away from us on Sunday morning, just like when you beat us on Saturday. Just could not finish like the Desperados do. Good luck moving up to 60"s. David, Pat's Sports #55

Audie & Curt, great post! Looking forward to seeing some of those bombs hit at "Classic Spring Training" in a couple of weeks. Keep the pressure on SSUSA. I've worked a lot the last couple of years at hitting the ball hard and will not be happy if it goes over the fence, being called out, and killing the inning for my team.

Mike, I have had the 10" red combat for about a year now and the ball really jumps off of it. Can you or anyone else with the 10" Macenko Gear compare the two? David
