I got this email from the company today and thought I would share it since I know many have been waiting.

" Thank you for all that have been patent waiting for their Veteran bats. The truck arrived and over 200 bats shipped out today. All orders have been filled and UPS tracking numbers are on the way"

Discussion: Wood bat for practice

I agree with the game bat part. We play on Saturdays so I am using the wood bat on Monday's for a bp workout. By Saturday buy picture perfect (lol) swing is back.
To use this and then have to play games the next day would not work for me. It is more of a workout tool.

I gave it a try. The only wood bat I have is a old baseball bat that weights more than I do so it was hard to get around. It was a real workout and found that when I returned to my Vet it felt like a toothpick. So I now use the wood bat one day a week for a workout and to pinpoint my contact with the ball. I think there is a increase in bat speed by using the wood bat. Overall it is a great workout.

Heard the other day that hitting a wood bat in bp will help you game swing. Your thoughts???

Looking forward to the American model with 'God Bless America' on the barrel. Not PC but who cares. I think it is neat. I have one on order.

I saw nothing about SSUSA. In fact I think they have been very helpful. The guy that runs the bats said SSUSA has been great to work with. My understanding is no ad's can be placed. In terms of the bat I think time and players will tell.

Discussion: Slower bat speed - use bigger bat ???

After working on this for the past month there is one point that stands out. Using a lighter bat for 'on deck' swings has really helped. I am using my Grand DD's old fastpitch bat. It only weights 23oz and swinging before I bat seems to be helping my game swing.

Is there a place to see this and maybe buy one? Sounds like I could make it in the shop but would like to see one first.

Hard to think about the cold right now. I am in Arizona on a family visit and it seems to be 300 degrees outside. My friend has a wood box with a plex-glass to keep the bats warm in the sun. He thinks this works to help keep the bats from cracking. Is this true or is he just cracked??

Allow me to put my vote in for the Baden senior balls as well. We use them here in Big Sky and they work great. They seem to hold up better than the Trump and very easy to get.

Our team got 3 U2’s for team bats and they all cracked in less than 150 swings. That is why we moved to the Veteran bat. So far we have over 200 hits and all is well. Performance seems to be same but based on another team that has 400 hits on it this bat seems to live much longer.

One other thing I got from the coach at MSU....

Using a work out cord that hooks on the fence. I then put one hand behind my back and pull the cord as I am swinging a bat. This has already helped my swing. Wanted to past this on in hopes it might help you guys.

My new bat is a 27 and one of the things this coach had me do is to line up my little knuckles. This has picked up my bat speed some and I seem to have more whip in my swing.

I found a baseball coach that is helping with my bat speed and swing. I also got the new 27oz bat today (the white Veteran) so I hope to be good to go. Thanks for all your help.

That's what I thought but I was told that with a slower bat speed you need more mass to get hit the ball better. It did not make sense to me so I wanted to ask you guys.
