Discussion: Need team in Co.

I'm a 64 year old (65 in Nov.) that now plays for Southern Cal. Connection a 65 AAA team and Cal. Gusto 60 Major team in Orange Ca.
In 2-3 months (or less) I will be moving to Parker Co.
I'm a 5'10", 180 lb SS w/a very good arm and still can go yard once or twice a tournament(w/ultra II).
Will be looking for a travel team and 2-4 days a week in leagues (day time leagues if you have them there). I do about 20 tourneys a year.
Could you help with some teams names or emails that I could try out for?

Thanks a lot advance.

Why is it the 60's only play 3 days (with more teams) while the 65's have to stay 4 days? That just costs more for hotel and eating.

Discussion: New Miken Ultra II vs Ultra II Legacy

The bats are different. The ultra ll is better. The Legacy is made for players under 50 years of age that are not allowed to use the ultra ll. That is straight from the factory and shows in their performance.

Discussion: Bad knee

Over the past 20 years I have had my right knee operated on 5 times. After the 3rd one they had removed all of my cartlidge. I don't use a brace because after my 3rd I had a new ACL replacement. That tighten my whole knee up (a real life saver).
When we play 3 or more games a day I will ice it down after the 2nd game (never more than 20 min.) That and 2-3, 800 mg motrin do the trick. There will be swelling and a little pain the next day, but I'm the fool who wants to play ss.
If you have a total knee, you will be able to play again, but you will have to learn a new way of balancing on that knee.

Discussion: My Ultra2 Advance cracked in less than 60 swings

I have used the advanced 26 oz for about 4 months now. I use it in batting practice, over the line practice and tournaments. This bat has around 500+ hits, shows no wear and will (like the old ultra) allow me to hit the ball 320+. I think it's a great bat and even better than the old because it will allow me to wrap my finger around the end, giving me a 35-36 inch bat. This will increase bat speed.

I have heard that ULTRA II\'s will not be allowed.
What about the senior combat?
