so mad dog are you saying there isnt much difference between the 44/375 and the 52/275? does the 52 stay as hard as the 44 over the length of a game.and are you saying that it doesnt matter if its hot and humid the 52 doesnt change?

How does the 50/300 ball compare to the 44/375?We have been using the 44/375 baden fire ball which is a very good ball and in some tournaments they are using the 50/300 ball.I know in cooler weather the 50 cores are okay bu what about on hot summer days?

Discussion: Reebok senior melee

I had a reebok break after 50 swings this year and sent it back to reebok, they replaced it in two weeks.I was amazed that it came back so fast and that they replaced it. I want to thank the people of reebok and to say if you have any problems with reebok they will try to fix them. THANKS REEBOK

Discussion: Bat break in time

I got a reebok melee at the end of last year after using and breaking a couple of ultra maxloads and have only put maybe 75 swings on it so far, my question is to anyone else out there using a melee how long did it take for yours to break in? I know its going to vary with each person but im just trying to get an idea of the normal break in time before i pass judgement on which is the better bat

Discussion: overlapping grip

I started using the overlapping grip two years ago and had great results but last year after hitting i noticed the area between my thumb and index finger on my top hand got very sore and even a little swollen. Has anyone else had this happen and if so what did you do other than quit using that grip

Discussion: ultras

Im 6ft3 and about 260 and i swing pretty hard.I still hit it a good ways so i was wondering how long a maxload may last me.I had a 30 oz that lasted at least 150 swings or more before breaking and i just came across a 28oz that i havent used yet.I had heard that the heavier bats may have lasted longer than the 28s.Has anyone else came across that?

I would like to know if the miken ultras or the reebok melees that you see on anaconda sports, kellys or direct sports are 2012 models or 2011 models? If they are 2011 models then are 2012 models available and if so where?

Discussion: reebok

I got a reebok senior bat when they first came out and the first couple of times that i used it i felt the same thing. I actually felt like the bat was breaking off at the handle when i hit the ball.I put the bat in the bag and used my miken till it broke and decided rather than buy a new one i would try to use the reebok again.I used another bat and a rubber mallet and beat on the bat till the paint started to spider web.Once this happened and i used it the bat was awesome.Just as much distance as the ultra and it hasnt broken yet.

Discussion: reebok vis a vis ultra....a year later

I got a reebok senior bat in april and didnt use it very often until my ultra maxload cracked after fifty or so swings and at first hated it.the reebok just didnt seem to have any pop and felt really funny when i hit the ball.So i took the cracked ultra and each day used it to hit the reebok, i kept rotating the reebok in my hand while hitting it with the ultra finally after about 250 hits the paint started to crack a little and the next league game i used it.Well i must say since then i put it right up there with the ultras in distance and may be even more durable.

Discussion: worth bats

Yes al33, i know clatta and actually have played with him in a few tournaments.Im originally from virginia and everyone who ever played any serious ball there knows who clatta is.I play senior ball now and a guy on an opposing team used one of these worth bats the other night and the ball really hopped off it so i was just wondering if other people had used it with good results and if it was balanced or endloaded?
