| Oct. 30, 2019 MartyM | Topic: Rules of the game Discussion: Team Roster Clarification-2020 mck71, Here is Tiffany's response, First part is clear as you noted, second part is somewhat unclear but my inference is two fold, 1) As you suggested, don't register any players until I have a full committed team. 2)If we do get started and then disband, players may be able to move to another team at the discretion of SSUSA. Tiffany's Quote: You are only allowed one release per season, so if you play with team “A” in Winter Nationals, you would need a release to go back to your regular team “B”. If a team disbands then that would mean they aren’t going to play in the World Master Champs. They would need to email us to inform us so we could properly note that, but that would not count as a formal release and potentially someone could go to one more team in the Season. As the manager, I suspected the first part, which you verified, so as a registered manager I decided to skip Ft. Myers, 1st time in 10+ years, to give myself some wiggle room if I can't put a team together. We have missed most of the last two years with roster issues. |

Myers in this case) with a team that you are not normally associated with, are you now a registered member of that team? If so and you then want to return to the team you normally play with you need a release from them to return to your normal team. Not a problem, except you are only allowed one release/year, so if you re-sign with your normal team(already registered for 2020) but it fails to make a playable roster are you done for the year? Or, if the team disbands can the players sign with another team? Thanks for responses and any pointers to rules that I missed.
