Discussion: Mike Macenko's Ultra 2's.......

Hit my new Big Cat end load today on a baseball field. 330' down left field line, 345 to center field. 2nd swing went 340'. Took 118 swings with it and hit 57 HR's. There is a second fence 77' past the 330' fence, making that fence 407'. After about 50-60 swings the sound of the bat changed and i hit 10 balls over that second fence. I probably hit 20-30 balls that landed 10 ft. short of the second fence. The bat changed sound again at about 70-80 swings. All I can say is if your an end load guy, you are going to love this bat. Due to the 1 oz. end load your bat speed will increase. The guy i was hitting with said that my bat speed was faster with this bat. This just proves to me what they say about end loads. It will increase your bat speed. Oh and by then way,I have never gotten more than 80 swings with any Miken before today. I believe its as hot as any bat on the market and so far no durability issues. Thanks to Miken and to Mike Mecenko we have another great bat to choose from!!!! It made me feel like the bats of old!!! I love this bat!!

SSUSA what happens when a team uses a player that has not yet turned the age of the bracket said team is in. For example , what if a guy is 49 and plays for a 50 and over team. I know you can play if you turn in the same year, but what if the player just turned 49 and then he and the team gets caught? What happens to the player and team?

I had a senior Melee Legend end load last me 1400 hundred swings last year. No senior bat has ever come close to this bat in my opinion. I wish they would keep making it.

Discussion: players please respond to rule changes

They are trying to dummy down the game. Just like tee ball , they want everyone to be happy. Well, that will never happen, not one Major plus player would want this DBO. I agree that they should do something , but this is not the answer. By the Mulewhipper, the HR rule in Major plus is 9 not 10 as you stated. Not that is a big deal, but it could be now that its an out after 9. Go back to aluminum bats and blue dot balls. THen the HR hitters would hit them and you would not have to worry about guys hitting them when that are not supposed to. At least go back to the limit of 12 per game for Major plus. This way there is a difference in the Major and Major plus division. Right now not much difference at all. So no Major team will ever want to move up with these stinking rules!!!!

Discussion: SSUSA AND SPA MEETINGS

I agree with Jawood on the Major plus rules, but if you just did away with the impact player rule in SPA I could live with the rules the way they are. Why would you ever limit the best players in the top division? I would always go for unlimited HR's runs per inning and no run rule. Just like the old ASA super rules, but I also know the time limit will get in the way. I think there should be no time limit on games for the Plus division. The batters box should be moved forward the length of the plate. When they made the plate a stike they in essence moved the strike zone forward, but did not move the batters box. For some one as tall as I am, this creates more of an issue than for my shorter team mates. If you moved it forward the length of the plate this would resolve this issue. Or as someone stated above do away with the front line. Either one would work.

Discussion: What do you do for arthritis

I have tried just about everything for arthritis. The only thing that has worked for me is Osteo-Bi-Flex. It takes about 2-3 weeks to start feeling the difference. Almost all my aches and pains will leave if I stay on this product. My wife tried to switch to something a little cheaper that looked just like Osteo-Bi-Flex without telling me and after 2 weeks I asked her if something had changed with my supplements because I was having all kinds of aches and pains again, she fessed up and told me that she had tried a different arthritis supplement and did not want to tell me , just let the pain do it. I told her to go back to the good stuff and don't ever switch again. This is just my expierience, but whatever you try give it a good month to make a good evaluation.

Nothing like going all the way across the USA for a tourney and have to play at 7:30am and 9:00am on Friday and then not start the tourney until Saturday morning. I know this is a big tourney with a lot of teams but can some one fromthe staff tell us why the bracket does not start when all our RR games end at 11:30am?
