| Feb. 25, 2023 HAWAIIANS #9 | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: 5gg spring championships Staff, your post is making me an unhappy camper. just needed to voice out my opinion. At this late time, [I agree here, you could've create a 5 GG format, but elected not to.] and with the number of teams who have already paid the lesser rates,[agree-according to survey a 75$ increase along with posted entire of 595$ comes to a total of 670$ for a 5 GG tourney], it didn't seem fair to ask them to pay more ... [ here is where I strongly disagree with your post. last year 2022 Hawaii State Qualifier, entry fee was 450$, and it was a 5 GG with lesser team, played just this pass June of 2022. Tourney director was Jeffery Kimoto, and supported by Senior Softball USA. Now Sacarmento (HQ) runs the Aloha Bowl 2023, posting a 595$ entry fee and making this a 4 GG tourney. this brings about a increase of 145$, and from 5 GG to a 4 GG. If anyone from HQ be out at the Aloha Bowl, I would mahalo the opportunity to speak with people from HQ to take back to open discussion with peers in HQ. my rant Aloha. |
