certainly one of the best over 65 power hitters in the country is Bob Moutrie from St Louis. he is capable of hitting 10 in a row out and mixing in 350 foot shots too. he also is a complete hitter and can hit both lines at will. he is out with surgery now on both shoulders and we hope he returns soon. he is not well known because he seldom plays tournaments , but he is a legend in st louis.

hi rabbit,
thanks for the kind words. the reason metro /coors light is AAA is because we haven't won a big tourney until Champaign, and now st louis. we are leaving wednesday for plano, but we arent going to cancel just because we won. we usually only play one national tournament because most of our players are still working and cant get time off. our best finish before this year was 3rd in 2002 in phoenix, so why would we have moved up? i am sure we will be moved up next year, but then who do we play in the midwest? you know we all see each other at every tournament, same teams over and over. good luck to you in plano. Jim McCart

ps: i met Bruce Meade in St louis and what a class guy he is. he is a great ambassador for senior softball.

thanks Nancy for the kind words. we feel the same way about the FOG. When I played with Miller Lite in Louisville and you beat us, i told the guys that we couldn't have lost to a better group of gentlemen. see you in Phoenix?

i agree with gumper. we pay to play, we should dictate what rules we want to play by.

when are we seniors going to realize that WE pay to play and should control which bats and balls we use. i have yet to hear a guy complain about too many home runs, if he can hit one. I agree with the theory " if it ain't broke, don't fix it".
