We are doing fine and dad has been out the last three years. If he is not with them someone should have picked him and you up. They are missing out on some strong talent.
Dad is being inducted into the Hall of Fame so we are going down for that and to watch the games.
Sorry we will miss you. We will definitely check Doc's out along with the other major plus and major teams.
Shoot me an email if you guys come back down this way anytime.
Later,
Donnie

Discussion: Choosing Home team vs Visitor

Bob,
That was my solution. I hoped the other team would win the toss. My old team was like everyone else. They always wanted home also, but the times have changed.
Years ago it use to be all offense. When we built our team we tried to get the defense and speed also. These two things are hard to find in senior ball and it also helps if they can hit a little.
That is why I was so impressed with Mr. Conway Waddy so much. Not only could he crush the ball but he was as good a defensive person and could also run for himself.
Take care,
Donnie

Discussion: Choosing Home team vs Visitor

Bob,
I would prefer to take visitors all the time. I would rather try and score first and put the pressure on the home team.
If you score and that is a big if, you can win a lot of games early and make the home team try to play catch up the whole game.

Is this the same Cliff that played with the old Travel Lodge out of Michigan?
He is a great player and pickup.

Discussion: Seeding

An 0-2 team can't be seeded ahead of a 1 win team. maybe your coach should have kept an eye on the bracket.
They tried to give our 65 a 2 seed when I had told them it should be a 1 seed. It was a three way tie and they had some problems before I brought it to theie attention.
Trust no one.

I agree. Everything was bad. Not able to retrieve some home run balls because of the road and the apartments across the street.
If we have to buy the balls please put us somewhere wherewe are ableto rum them down.
Congrats to the winners Mtc and Hollis.

Most of the USSSA bats are just as hot as the senior bats. We had the yellow mm combats testing a few years ago in the Smokies. We were there to watch the young guys and most of the USSSA bats tested alot hotter than our 2 senior bats. If the believe in the bat tester.
