Our team is not going to Mesquite (Desperado 60AAA). I would like to play with a 55 team if a team needs a player. They play me in the outfield. I can run pretty good. Really enjoy playing quality ball.

Be nice if they let you know where you are playing BEFORE all the rooms sod out. I guess that make too much sense.

It's ridiculous that they cannot tell you what city you will be playing in at this time.

All 65+ and older teams will play in Mesquite, NV, for Session #1 (Tuesday thru Thursday).

For Session #2 (Friday thru Sunday), the Men's 60+ Division will play in Mesquite, since they played in St. George last year. Space permitting, some 50's and/or 55's may play in Mesquite if there are remaining field allocation slots available after the 60's game count is determined. Shortly after the entry deadline of March 9th, final team counts will be known in the 50's and 55's, and they will be allocated to either Mesquite or St. George.

The 55's will get first priority on Mesquite since they were all in St. George in 2011. The 50's will likely be assigned primarily to St. George this year, along with some of the 55's.

None of this is certain until after March 9th, but is the best anybody can predict at this time. You may consider this post the TENTATIVE Field Assignments for the Winter Worlds 2012. Please keep in mind that TENTATIVE means subject to change and that FINAL Field Assignments will be released simultaneous with the release of the DRAFT game schedules shortly after March 9th.

As for me I think St. George has the better facilities.

I love the smaller area atmosphere of Mesquite. St. Georgle does offer a good variety of eating places, and the Canyons Complex are nice fields, but Mesquite fields are good as well.
Lastly, you can party more after the games in Mesquite!!
