Senior Bomb Squad 2 and Swing Makeover Series Episode #5 now up on youtube

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u2ENMTiWTsM&feature=youtu.be

We quickly cover one single drill, the rotation drill. We start with the connection position that we learned in Swing Makeover #4, and we simply rotate our hips and keep our body angled, and upper body locked out...so that just by turning our hips...we can bring the hands forward in an arc to the point where we will snap the bat head into the ball. Very simple and effective. We introduce the use of a power band, to perform this drill anytime, anywhere...awesome.
Then its onto a section of entertainment. The Senior Bomb Squad 2. 8 powerful hitters, 5 of them in both young men and senior halls of fame, put on an impressive display of power and place hitting at the famous Woodlawn Hitting Club in St. Petersburg Florida. Besides, showing their impressive power, they share some of their hitting success with you. An amazing group of technically advanced hitters.
All of the Swing Makeover Series is free on youtube and can be found under the youtube listings on our website at www.sportstechnique.com
Id like to thank our senior squad hitters, Kevin Schullstrom, Mark "Boo" Canegallo,
Steve Imlay, Davey Reed, Bobby Davis, Mark Thomas and token senior my son Bret. 5 Hall of Famers in this group. There are so many great senior hitters in their 60s nationally, but these 4 in their 60s, would make everyones top 10.

Loved the video...The way Davey and Bobby were swinging, we might have to paint a few grapefruits and used them instead of "Rocks" when we play them.

Bogie, Great video! I enjoyed seeing my pals Dave Reed and Steve Imlay representing us 60+ dudes. I don't know Bobby Davis that well yet but since he plays with Ed Rose he must be a very patient individual! LOL! Wish Clatta had been on there, too!

Those shots Dave were hitting looked like the bombs he dropped on us last year in Las Vegas!

I like Bret's comment that he concentrates on 10%, 10% and once his front foot lands it max.

Great video and lot of fun to make especially with the hitting talent that was out that night. Really was a pleasure and honor to hit with this great bunch of guys. My neck is still sore from watching all the balls that everyone hit out of the park.
