| Feb. 24, 2013 talldog93 10 posts | Syracuse New York Senior Women's softball team Any over 40 year old women who are interested in joining a new league and possible in organizing a Syracuse Over 40 year old tournament team please contact Darryl at 315-877-3969. Syracuse does not have a women's travel tournament team whereas the men in Syracuse have (7) seven teams. Its time for the women of Central New York to step up and join in on the fun. |

| July 8, 2013 JTeleven 10 posts | Hi Darryl. I just saw this post. So nice to see someone making a sincere effort to promote Womens Senior Sofball in the Northeast and particularly in this area. I am also in central NY and play for a 40+ Womens travel team based in New England. We tried to enter the senior tournament in Syracuse last August but there ended up being no womens teams entered. Please reply with an update on your efforts. Were you able to form a league and travel team? |
| Dec. 27, 2013 talldog93 10 posts | Hello JTeleven.....I am working close with Brett Helmer and the future Premeir Softball complex at Santaro in the Town of Clay in Central New York and we are looking to start an over 40 year old Woman's softball league this year at the Santaro complex. We are looking to incorporate this league with our Monday night Men's over 50 Softball League. Ideally I would like to establish four woman's teams for this league, (around 48 women) If we get enough interest to start, we may even have a draft for the team establishment just to get this started. | Jan. 3, 2014 talldog93 10 posts | Hello punkin.....We are looking to start an over age 40 woman's league in conjunction with our over 50's men's league at Santaro. So it can be any woman over the age of 40. Get all your over 40 friends together for a fun night together with a bunch of over 50 men already playing at Santaro. |
