| March 13, 2013 Tim Millette 615 posts | I don't ski...so we usually let friends spend most of the weekends at the cabin. We might spend three weekends up there during snow season. The west shore of Tahoe is better suited for Homewood, Alpine, Squaw and Northatar skiing. At emerald bay on highway 89 the road gets closed often and it's a loooooong drive around the lake to Heavenly. Summer time is my Tahoe time....and...as they say....West shore is the best shore. Old Tahoe lifestyle without the new Tahoe traffic. |
