Monsta Fossil
Time for a new update on my Fossil. one month in use now and over 600 hits on the bat and it's still going strong. It really started showing the horizontal stress cracks about the 400-450 hit range. There are a couple of spots where the paint has started to chip off now. Also noticed a spot where the barrel and taper meet that appears to be 2 cracks forming at a 45 degree angles(shape of a V)to its length. They are about an 1-1/2 inch long, most of the crack is on the taper. It doesn't seem to have affected the performance though. Still hitting exceptionally well!!! I still continue to let everyone hit with it that wants to use it. Will keep everyone posted until it fails.

That's a good years worth of wear.
not sure I believe the distance though. But what ever it it goes over that's good enough. I don't know any softball fields that large.

Taits, I didn't call out any distances in my post, only number of hits on the bat. The cracks I mentioned happened around the 400-450 hit range. As far as distances the ball travels when I hit it, in the 310-330 range consistently, on occassion when the sun, moon and stars line up a little longer. Like you said though, what goes over is good enough.

I was aware of the post wording. Post was not aimed at any particular person but rather to all post of 400+- foot shots.
I know it is possible, but who is out there measuring then over and fences during a game?
I've watched the HR competitions and watched them fly over stadiums. But these are apples and orange comparisons.
In my book, if its not on the general market & readily available to everyone, its all hype or looking for a job selling some These bats may be good then again they may not last either. Time and real feedback is the tell all, but not a month out of the gate. The GSC, it's been 4 years. Bs on that one.

taits, you would have sounded much smarter if you would have simply said "oops I misread the post"
