Z2000 vs miken ultra II
Has anybody compared the Louisville slugger z2000 balanced vs the miken ultra II? Does the z2000 really out distance the ultra 2 as some claim?

Hit the z2000 during spring training in cocoa beach, nice bat, but not as good for us over50 fellows as mikes ultra2, but if I had to play with a usssa bat
It would be z2000 balanced or worth legit balanced. That being said I really liked new senior legit by worth it is a gray bat and hit the ball great. It's either the legit or the reebok melee this year.

For 250 and no warranty the Legit would need to be good & durable...Others are proven for less. Worth made or ordered far too many to be that different from ASA, USSA and sr ball.

If I recall correctly that was at Kelly's and Just bats. Didn't find the grey or Black at two other sites I went to it was all ASA.
I think I've bought more bats that you have anyway and yes I do shop for pricing if that is what you mean.
Worth has only put out maybe 2-3 dozen or so very good bats over the years. I've had most all of them. Still use a EST c405-P for bp in cold weather.

At either 179.90 or 250.00 that's a big hole in the pocket...

Durability has been a problem for the Z2000. Make sure you ask for a replacement with a warranty. Z2000+ and Z3000 are supposed to resolve the durability issues but the release date has been pushed back to mid April on the 2000+ and November on the 3000. Although the Z2000 is a good bat it will not hit as far as an UltraII, unless you get one of the bad batches.

I hit my asa stamped uII,a Z2000 utrip, my Lady Virus, and my UII se and hit about 40' more with the z2000, next was the UII se. Lady was about 20' behind the asa UII but you can get 1000 hits on the Lady.
