For the Reebok Reps:
I heard this am from a very reliable source that Reebok has gone out of the bat business. What do you know about this?

I saw a letter from Bill Ruth, co-owner of SSUSA, stating the same.

I wasn't going to disclose the source, but I'm sure others got the note as well.
My worry is about defect replacements that may arise just before the las one is produced and no longer in stock.
That could apply to Combat's as well with their future in question. Both companies currently have some of the best bats out there, hate to see either stop producing bats, but rather cut back on that which they do produce model wise or assn wise.
Was looking for a possible explanation from the reps. They should have been advised.

I can share that Reebok is still building quality composite bats and the new Reebok "Barrage" ASA/USSSA and Senior models will be out soon. The ASA/USSSA models will be introduced first and then the Senior models. The Reebok "Melee" ASA model and the "Melee Legend" Senior models are also being built. Both "Barrage" and "Melee" bats will be offered in a balanced and an end load option. The ASA and USSSA bats will have warranties. No warranties for the senior models.
Thanks,
Ed Andrews

I heard from a good source that you may see the Melee Legend with different graphics and the Adidas name on it. To my surprise I was told that Adidas was the parent company of Reebok.

The "Melee Legends" will look exactly the same. The "Barrage" USSSA/NSA/ISA will be dark with white lettering/airbrush grey and yellow band above the handle. The "Barrage Legend" will be dark with white lettering/airbrush grey and orange band above the handle.

All 2013 line will say Reebok on the barrels.
