Teeters of Arkansas will be there in the 60AAA division. Hope you have a good turnout. The season always ends too early. Glad to have someplace to play in October.

Where's a good place for seafood in Pensacola?

TT,
Here is a short list: The Fishhouse, Halls Seafood, both are downtown not far from the fields. The Marina Oyster Barn a few block from the field. Jerry's Cajun Cafe on 9th ave.
Panda's China Buffet...King crab, boiled/fried shrimp, mud bugs, and catch of the day.
The tournament committee will be meeting shortly and I will post the teams that are playing.

Bruce,

Where is Trigger's? I bribed my wife with the promise of good seafood if we went to this tournament. That didn't work so well for Ardmore, Oklahoma, but in Pensacola, it might have some credibility.

I googled Triggers and this is what I found:
Triggers' Seafood Restaurant
850/492-1897.
Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Friendly, family atmosphere. a favorite local place. Famous for trigger fish dishes.

The first time I ate there was three years ago. Our 55 team, Alabama 55's, went there after playing Saturday night and found that the guys on AMI were there. I figured that since most of them were local the place must be good.

I just did a mapquest and it is 15 miles from Pensacola, a 29 minute drive.

Now that we have the important things out of the way
(Where to eat), does anyone have any info on the teams in the 50's that will be attending.
Wish SPA would quit changing the dates of their tournaments after the year has started. We missed Plano and will miss the winter nationals because of it.

We have moved up to 55 ball now I will talk to our new manager RT I know he is still looking for some infielders for our team next year we will be out of GA. Bruce is not playing with us he is playing Major +. I guess he does not want to play with a new team having to start over with all the process of getting rated and the hoops you have to ump through

25 teams have sent in the paperwork, Monday we will call those other teams who want to know who is coming.
Sixties (60) have the largest number of teams.
If your group/rating/age catagory does not make we will give you the choice of playinig down or canceling and we will return your monies.

Don,
From the looks of the 55 teams I don't think you guys will have any problem rolling over any of the the 50's AAA teams unless all of you bat the oppisite of your normal side and you wear your gloves on the wrong hand.

Don, I think they should combine the 50's and 55's in all qualifiers.
And Steve, quite with the "poor mouth". 8) You guys should be able to run up some high scores with your talent.
Oops, never mind, I do remember the last few league games!
