ASA bat
Does anybody have suggestions/opinions on the best ASA non senior bat? This is for our regular league. We can't use USSSA bats. Thanks.

A lot depends on the balls being used. If 44/375 then older pre-abi bats: easton...SCN3, SCX3, miken...Recoil, NRG500,many other choices. If the 52/300 balls....Demarini...Flipper, J3A, TPS...Z-1000, Z-2000, Miken...ASA U2, Triad, etc. Then, it's all about feel...endload vs. balanced; stiff vs. soft barrel; one vs. two piece again many factors to consider. what did you swing before ? Too broad a question without specifics.

Miken makes a good one that's white but I do not know the model. I broke* my Freak DST ( good too, and also white) , so there are two good ones to think about.
*I've got 9 cracks in it. Never seen cracks that curve downward like all these do. They are cheap now too about half what I paid 2+ years ago when they came out.

The best non senior bat I ever used was the MV3.

Bob: I believe that the MV-3 is a USSSA bat. I forgot to mention that Eastons from last year & this year are good with the 52s. Also, newer bats with the 44/375 balls may have durability issues.

Right. We can't use MV3's anymore in our league because they are USSSA. Plus, they quit making them. I was answering taits' question about what I swung before. Some of the Eastons look good.

Bob, a lot of the guys in our Senior ASA leagues use one of the new Eastons or the Miken Triad. All good bats.

Albuquerque City League. Thanks, Alan. I'll probably order a Miken Triad from you.
