Please understand that Bill Gately & Gates Sports Company no longer exists. The new GSC stands for God's Sports Company & the P413 is a product of that. While I do understand your position based on Mr. Gately's history, I'd really appreciate a phone call to discuss God's Sports Company & the new P413. I am available @ all times for all who desire to know the truth. Thanks!

Jason,
I hope all goes well with your product and company! When you attach God's name to it...well I would pray all of you are working as unto the Lord! I attempted to support this venture in the past, even considered being the Pacific rep...but oh well it fell through. I just know that there are many other great bats out there without all the doubt and drama, thus I have decided to move on. Aloha, Fabe

Our team got the 27oz GSC Demo. bat from Dan Arevalos to swing for a while in BP while in Reno last week and found nothing wrong with it. Wanted to swing a heavier version they had there but ran out of time as the wives had other ideas.

Fabe - Sorry you decided to move on but believe you will reconsider when you swing the P413... :)--

Vinny - Will do, my friend! Give me a call on my cell early next week to make sure I got a hold of Troy. Thanks!

Enviro - Understood on the wives thing... Heavier versions in the que... Where do you live?

Best,

Jason

GSC has issued repeated unfulfilled release dates and about a year ago said the bat was approved. Just offer the bat for sale when ready please. Also some apologies are due, for mistaken statements about release dates and not just blame to the past owner. Most everyone wishes GSC well, just show consideration for those who held off buying bats waiting for promised released dates if credibility is to be improved. Or just release the bat when promised. Many have moved on concerning this bat. Again, good luck GSC, We just want a good warrantied bat for a fair price.

IMO - No apology is necessary from GSC. GSC - Steve does not have any of your money. Any delayed release date is costing Steve and the people invested in the process.

I am sure not having a bat in the warehouse is disappointing to all. Once they take your money then the clock starts ticking, until then....

Its not about money, its about considering relationships. If no apologies necessary, then little respect owed. No problem, but anybody following the will understand how some apology might be proper. Anyway, enough time wasted, the bat will speak for itself. All forgiven, lets move on and play some ball.

Curious, was GSC allowed to use the GSC P413 Prototype (Non-Production) Bat during Tournament Play in Reno ? ? ?

I also was allowed to swing the bat last weekend and the bat had a approval stamp. The bat was approved and had the sticker on it in Reno also, so the bat isn't a prototype. I also liked the bat and will purchase one when available. The one I used had over 900 swings and there were some BIG BOYS swing the bat with me.

Were all teams given bats to use?

JDub - Yes, The GSC 50 Major Plus team won the tourney using the P413. As for the "pre-production" comment, full production models will be the EXACT same bat as you saw in Reno.

Dbax - The GSC team was given bats to use in the tournament. Reedus from OKI also chose to use the P413 bat in the tournament & hit 3 consecutive homeruns with the P413. In addition, we held side hitting sessions throughout the entire week with the bat & let anybody who wanted to put swings on it to do so. As you can see in our videos @ www.gscbats.com the response was overwhelmingly positive.

All - Again, I would invite anyone interested in accurate updates & information to call my cell @ (949) 702-3880.

God Bless you all!

Jason @ GSC

Jason, very curios how SSUSA allowed this bat to be used by your team, if it is not available to everyone yet, and not provided to all teams to use. Is this not unfair?

I do not work for GSC.

Once a bat has been manufactured and passes the test performed by Dr. Brandt then it is available for use within any organization.

If you as an individual, wanted to develop a product for use only by a select few and it met all of the specifications as set by an organization then it cannot be denied use by same.

The tests conducted by Dr. Brandt indicate that a product, in this case, a softball bat, does not exceed 1.21 BPF. Therefore in theory, all bats with this designation should be equal. We know from use this is not the case.

I am of the opinion that most 1.21 bats hits for about the same distance. What is different is the design, the weight or balance and durability.

I know that P413 bats were given to use by other teams and some cases by teams in the same division, thus no competitive advantage. Bottom-line they had something before anyone else did because they are sponsored by the owner.

I can guarantee Hollis had the Reebok before anyone else for exactly the same reason.

Steve,

Thank you for Sharing your GSC P413 Prototype (Non-Production) Bats with us this weekend in French Valley. Now that you know where the Jabs are coming from you know it was only in Jest, as Rev & Ollie would tell you. Arizona Elite gives the Bat a "FAIR" Rating, as it stacks up just as STOOOPID as all the other Senior Bats ! ! !

Congratulations to Nazzareno on their WIN this weekend, coming through the Losers Bracket to Win a 1 Game Winner Take All Championship. I think we all would agree that some of these Format & Rule Changes are a bit Ridiculous to say the Least!? Best Wishes, and Good Luck to everyong the rest of this Season and Beyond ! ! !

Esemans55 - Thanks for your interest & inquiries about the P413. The answer to your question is yes. Once we finish placing the final touches on full production capabilities we will resume demo bat production. GSC has an East Coast Manager by the name of Rich Ezell. His phone # is (585) 739-9499 & his e-mail is rich@gscbats.com. Feel free to call my direct line as well @ (949) 600-7574.

I swung this bat in Reno.. I'm not a power hitter but was hitting one bounce line drives to the fence against the wind.. I liked the feel and sound of the ball comn off the bat.. I want one when they come out for that reason and the warranty that comes with the bat.. Also don't play tourn. ball, just with LVSSA..
