Columbus LX shows senior softball class
Not long ago a young lady named Mena was attached by a dog. Mena is the grand daughter of Steve Belcher, coach of the Strykers 60's team.

In a ceremony this weekend at the Peach State Classic in Marietta Ga. The Columbus LX team gave the Belcher family tickets to Six Flags over Ga and a very nice cash gift.

This is an example of what makes senior softball such a great blessing.

Well done C-LX.

Steve and Mena, many prayers have been said for your family and we will continue to pray for a full recovery.

Perl, for some reason, after I arrived back home yesterday, I could not access this message on my computer. I went ahead and entered my thoughts, but could not read your's until this morning.
My family and I truly appreciate your thoughts and prayers.

As you know, I had gall bladder surgery 2 days before Mena's difficulty and then on May 25 had a crisis with my pancreas. 6 days in the hospital and almost left twice! Doing well now, but do need continued prayers.

To all the softball community: faith and prayers and the mercy of Our Lord is really important. God bless you all.

Again, many thanks to Columbus LX and friends. Mena and family will be heading to SIX FlAGS later this month.

Don, pictures will soon follow to you. God bless and see you this Friday at Auburn!
