| June 27, 2013 Funk 66 posts | Batting Practice in San Diego San Diego area BP I'm going to be in San Diego on assignment for a few months starting July 6th and would like to mix in with guys that have hopefully early morning week day batting practices in the San Diego area...Please give me a shout on this board and let me know where anyone holds early morning week day batting practices in the area and I'll be glad to join them if they are cool with that...Thanx !! | June 28, 2013 Marv19 Men's 60 498 posts | you'll have about an hour drive but 18 to 25 guys meet every Wednesday and Friday 9:00 AM to noon at Spencers Crossing Sports Park near Temecula. Directions to the park are on this web site www.socalssa.com click on parks. It will cost you $5 bucks for the month. They use new ROCK balls and cycle them out as they get old. Why? ... Rocks are easier on the bats. Also if you're interested we do a senior league on Thursday nights there too. We just started our summer season. Your welcome to play.
