Yellow Combat MM Gear vs Blue MM Gear
In your guys opinion which bat is better, the yellow or blue MM Gear, and do they swing and feel the same?

Michigan Vet, the Blue MM never caught on... The yellow is coveted bat... but they stopped making them! Why, I can't understand but the Blue one was not even close to the yellow.. I had a yellow last me year and a half... Had the blue one break before it ever made it to a game...

The Yellow MM and the Blue MM are exactly the same bat. The only difference is we did not make a 10 inch. As far as one bat lasting 1 year and another breaking before game time, that could happen with any bat. I don't believe Combat would lie to us about the make up of the bat. I have hit the Blue bat and mine plays like my Yellow MM. I don't believe they made any special adjustments to my Blue bat. I bought it from Anaconda...

Mike,
I know you say Combat wouldn't lie...But we had this conversation months ago & I believe they ARE NOT EVEN CLOSE TO BEING THE SAME BAT! Not even close....
I had 4 yellow MM (still have 1 left) I purchased 2 blue MM from you, and they didn't even come close to performing the way the Yellow MM performed....Case in point, I can offer my 27oz Yellow MM with about 50 swings on it RIGHT NOW, & someone will offer me at least $300 for it....will the blue get the same offer? I think not!

Michigan, Buy the White Centenarian, you'll be happier with that one!!! The blue MM will disappoint you in the long run...IMO

Michigan and Rightrj, my experience with these two bats is just the opposite of yours. My Yellow MM was a good bat but it did not last me long. On the other hand, the Blue MM has been a great bat and is still going strong! I have had to reglue the end cap twice but this bat is still hitting them a long ways! And it is showing no signs of giving up the ghost yet (note: that is probably the kiss of death!).

I have a Blue 28 oz MM Gear and it seams to fit my swing real well. I have had it for 2 years, it is very hot and looks good. I keep trying new bats and keep going back to the Blue Combat. I just traded a bat and got a yellow 28 oz MM Gear. I hope they swing the same because I am looking forward to getting it!

RJ you are a 1000 percent correct! Blue was a different animal! I seen a Yellow broken on one side and still hitting 360 foot shots... that blue one would never do so... Combat blew it on that one.. It should of stayed with the yellow.. no need to fix what wasn't broken!

Double , Michigan & Goater I think you guys may be the only guys who likes this bat.....When the blue 1st came out there was conversation about Yellow verse the blue & the vote wasn't even close in regards to performance.(YELLOW WINS HANDS DOWN)..I'm glad you guys found a good one!!!

Swing & I have been greaty disappointed in the Blue MM and all I swing is Combats, so I'm a big Fan of Combats! I have one of each, Gray De BomB, White & Black Centerian, Red dirty, & the last Yellow MM They ALL out preformed the Blue MM.....I guess from Combat's standpoint, they can have 1 Boo Boo out of the group.....lol

I've had no luck with the Blue MM. But I do like Combat. I have 2 white centenarians, 3 black centenarians 1 yellow MM, 1 ambush 1 dirty combat and the gray combat. They all are great bats. Went through 2 blue MM. The didn't last long. Must be my bad swing that did them in.

Joe, if bad swings kill bats then I would have NONE left! My good swings are handle shots that spare the barrel!

I have had 9 yellows and 4 or 5 blues. I likes the blues and they have performed well for me. I would say the yellow might out perform the blues a little bit and are a little bit more durable. Swing you know I am a true combat fan, my Reebok just doesn't have the same consistence (no spell check) not bad in the peformance area though Yes I guess I would have agree Yellow's are better since I currently have 5 yellows and would swing a blue before a reebok.
