Any other 50+AAA clubs participating in the upcoming Northern Championships? S.M.E. will be there. Any word on the posting of the brackets at mid-week?

There are seven (7) 50-AAA teams entered in the Northern Championships, but we do not have a team known as "S.M.E." in that group ... We DO have a 55-AAA team entered known as 'Sparky' Mann Enterprises, along with five other 55-AAA's ... Perhaps a new name for an established team or you mis-typed the age group? ... If not, please contact the SSUSA office immediately ... Schedule preparation is underway right now ... Thanks!

Thanks MV ... We're aware of their name history as 55's (and have them as 55's), but he was asking about, and referenced, playing 50's ... Just checking to be sure ...

My bad.........As sponsor, I am so use to listing "Sparky" Mann Enterprises as SME.

I only saw (six) 6 50-AAA teams instead of (seven) 7. Did I miss anyone? The other 5 teams in the 50's are Major.

My bad again SSUSA Staff......Must be that "old age" kicking in. It meant to list "55" not "50"..............Sorry about that...............First year sponsorship is really starting to take its toll......lolololol

Sparky.1,
I haven't heard the team name Motorcraft in years. I played for them here in the 70's & 80's
Good old days when it was softball for softball's sake, not business at any cost.
Had a long email about your affair on here before, but let it go and never sent it.
Hope you found your team.

taits.........Totally agree with your view of Softball the way it was and the great memories of those bygone days!

Been having a blast getting back into the game and seeing a few of my old opponents from the Metro Detroit area at earlier tourneys. Still trying to get use to this "new" style of ball and this new organization the SSUSA. Not like working with the old ASA or USSSA.

Really looking forward to the Northerns and Vegas. Are you going to be there in the Northerns. Would love to meet you!

Damn, screwed up in reverse again "taits". Really good chance of you NOT showing up for the Northerns since you are in CA. Perhaps in Vegas however!

Well you know then I can't read...lol.
Not sure about Vegas, Was offered a place, but having some procedure done to my neck in the AM. Whiplash of the like in June. So that is up in the air for now.
Mastercraft...is the the boat builder? If so I was familiar with them back then too.
But have another reason for wanting to go anyway so it's still not out of the question even if I can't play. We'll see in Sept\Oct.

I believe this Mastercraft was Carpet and Interior Design. Not really sure but I think I overheard a couple of players discussing it. No matter now, since they are playing under my flag.........lolol

Hope your procedures with your neck progress smoothly and eventually you can get back onto the field of play.

Hopefully you can attend Vegas as well. Here's my email to stay in touch ( grm.phd@gmail.com )
